As Sam, Dean and Jack slowly make their way back to the bunker, Asmodeus, the last Prince of Hell with extra special demon powers, takes over Hell and sends out his demons to track down Lucifer and Jack. After a relatively peaceful dinner of burgers and beer when they stop for the night, Donatello makes an appearance as Jack's new human-diving-rod, drawn to Jack's intense power, and Sam and Dean disagree about the nature of Jack's humanity. Amidst all of the brotherly bickering, Sam and Dean draw clear lines on both sides of nature versus nurture debate, but Sam isn't ready to believe Dean truly feels anything is born evil. Questions of Jack's power as well as his humanity are explored while Jack still struggles to understand himself and his abilities. Meanwhile, in Apocalypse World, Lucifer decides he needs Mary alive for a good, old-fashioned trade for his son, and they wander through the unfamiliar and dangerous world together, despite Mary's occasional attempt to run away from Lucifer. Michael makes his first appearance in the Apocalypse World, announcing his defeat of the Lucifer of his own world, and a short-lived scuffle ends in Michael suggesting there's something he needs from Lucifer.
