Kat, Sutton, and Jane wait for the train and scream when it arrives because it's drowned out.
Three days earlier they all walk into Scarlet, with Jane being promoted to writer.
At a big meeting Kat finds out that a lesbian Muslim photographer decided to pull her story and she thinks that is a mistake so she visits Adena to try to persuade her not to pull her article. It doesn't work at first, pushing Kat to prove that she and the magazine are a good feminist match.
Adena and Kat spend an evening helping Adena smuggle vibrators into her country for her friends. They discuss sexuality, specifically Kat's and religion.
Adena gets detained in the airport back home and Kat feels lost trying to figure out how to help.
She has to realize that there isn't much she could do that might not put Adena in danger so she waits it out, until she is released.
Sutton is revealed to be sleeping with Richard, a member of the Scarlet board of directors.
The other girls find out and their concerns about what this might mean causes Sutton to rethink her relationship.
Sutton tells Richard she wants dates and not just hook ups. The next morning he calls to ask her out.
Jane tries to brainstorm new ideas to pitch Jacqueline after her first aren't accepted.
Jane offers an ex stalking story which ends up with her searching for a guy that broke up with her suddenly.
She struggles but with some advice from Jacqueline she gets closure with her ex.
