The documentary begins, set to Louis Armstrong's What a Wonderful World as Shaun is filmed brushing his teeth and his hair. A ridiculously jazzed up version of it plays as Lea gets ready for work. Shaun notes that Lea is wearing lip gloss at breakfast. He can't find his apple, as the crew moved it because it was blocking the shot.

She interviews Shaun and Lea about how they became a couple. Shaun tells the story of how Lea did not want to date him because he is Autistic.

Jordan doesn't want to be in the show.  Andrews has decided to hijack the proceedings with a speech about how rigorous this program is. Lin announces on camera what Park and Shau will be doing today.

Shaun is filmed as he works on a burn patient in the ER. She needs surgery.

A firefighter has come in. No burns but he got hit by a beam. Park is put in charge of the case. The firefighter needs surgery.

Shaun is being filmed as he performs surgery. Andrews tells the filmmaker on tape that Shaun is an asset because of the way he views the world. He admits he used to think Shaun didn't belong but he's glad he got his arm twisted about that.

The patient crashes. Shaun can't see with the camera light in his eyes. Andrews tells the filmmaker that Shaun has visions.

Jordan talks about how Shaun is one of a kind but says she has a superpower too.

The patient isn't happy the camera crew is here and wants to see her family. She has pain around her grafts when she shouldn't. She screams with pain even when Shaun isn't touching her. Shaun doesn't understand what is going on. The woman's little girl is scared when she sees her.

The camera person tries to keep up with Shaun as he paces and thinks. He talks very fast to Jordan about it. The adema is getting worse even after replacing the dressings.  She skipped a urine check because the patient was uncomfortable. Shaun sends her back.

Park tells Grant he was a former cop. He needs surgery because of an unstable lumbar structure. He won't be able to be a firefighter anymore. Grant won't accept that. He trusts Park to get him back to his team.

Jordan is upset that Shaun criticized her on camera. Also a nurse was using an old training schedule. Lim is glad when Park calls her in about his patient as it's an actual medical issue.

Lea says on camera why she loves Shaun. Shaun talks about knowing Lea's eye crinkles. Jordan interrupts with her lab results. The graft issues are not her fault.

Shaun realizes he can see what happened in the surgery if he looks at the director's footage. He realizes the burns are actually third degree and that is mistake is what caused the problem.

Park is annoyed that Morgan is taking credit on film for Shaun and Lea getting together.

Meanwhile, the patient thinks she looks like a monster. Jordan makes them turn the cameras off while she and Shaun talk to her. Shaun needs to do another surgery or the woman will get in sepsis.

Morgan thinks Park's patient is being an idiot. Park understands how the guy feels and refuses to tell him not to do this surgery.

With cameras following, Shaun and Jordan argue about which surgery to do on this patient. Shaun says he is the attending. He goes to talk to Glassman and closes the cameras out. He says he was distracted by the cameras. Glassman says so do another surgery.  Shaun thinks he should not have made this mistake. Glassman tells him that if the camera crew is too distracting,  Shaun should get rid of the cameras.

The film crew wants to know if Glassman sees himself as Shaun's protector. Glassman says not anymore.  He's proud and relieved Shaun is gonna make it. Shaun changed.

Lea thinks the filmmaker is exploiting Shaun's Autism. This was supposed to be a show about weddings. The filmmaker agrees not to use the footage of the mistake. Shaun doesn't want to be dishonest. The filmmaker says that the point of the show is for Shaun to be an inspiration.

Park asks Lim to take over the case. Lim says that this is supposed to be Park's test to be an attending. He is risking his whole career to save the firefighter's.

In the next filmed segment Lea has no doubts. Shaun wonders if he should let Sophie remove his  mistake from the show. He has no nerves about getting married.

Shaun leaves. Lea gets upset that Sophie asks her about not wanting to date someone with ASD. She thinks Sophie is trying to embarrass her. Sophie is just trying to tell a story.

Sophie apologizes to the burn victim for adding to her pain. The woman says she will have to look at herself anyway and that people will see her as a monster, especially other kids. Sophie says she was bullied because of her height. Strength will make her daughter compassionate and able to overcome bullies.

The little girl doesn't want to see her mom. Jordan tells her it's okay to be scared and that the best cure is a hug from her mom. Even though she looks different her hugs are the same.

Shaun asks Jordan if she is here because he is the attending or because she trusts him. She trusts him despite him making that mistake. She feels more inspired.

Shaun tells the camera crew they can't film the surgery as it is too distracting.

Lim and Park get to work but the patient begins crashing. Asher has an idea but it doesn't work. BP is dropping but then stabilizes. Lim says they can try completing the procedure from the other side. Park says no. we're changing course.

Andrews observes as Shaun gets to work. The patient crashes from blood loss.

Shaun has to make a decision as his patient is bleeding out. Andrews watches. Shaun makes his decision.

Park gives Grant the news that he is done as a firefighter as his body was giving out from the surgery and they had to switch surgeries. Grant is upset.

Shaun decides Sophie can use the footage of the mistake as surgeons making mistakes can be inspirational.

Lim writes the nurse up from before for being late, not writing charts properly, and taking personal calls at work. The nurse reveals she's being abused by her partner.

Shaun removes the bandage and says the regraft was a success. The woman's daughter comes to see her.

Morgan tells Park he passed his test.

Lea talks about how she used to think she and Shaun were too different and that she'd have to compromise too much. But she changed because of how Shaun saw her. Shaun shows up and asks if it is time for the surprise. They are taken blindfoldedto a surprise karaoke party and Claire is there to sing for them.
