The Good Doctor Season 3 Episode 7 revolves around people making connections.

Shaun, Melendez, and Park meet Tara, a woman with a severe autoimmune disorder who has an infection in her lung requiring surgery. During the surgery, she has to be removed from her airtight chamber, putting her at risk of infection.

Soon afterward, Tara falls ill. Park gets an idea for how to cure her autoimmune disorder, but Melendez thinks it's too risky. However, Tara decides to have the procedure after Shaun talks to her about his own feelings about being different.

Meanwhile, Morgan and Claire end up going on a joyride with a 12-year-old patient who is going blind thanks to cancer in his eye. Morgan empathizes with the kid, but Claire thinks they should get him back to the hospital for his surgery ASAP.

Finally, Dr. Glassman has a hard time when Debbie continually interrupts his meetings to tell him his next patient is here and chase out whoever is in his office. When he confronts her about it, they have another big blow-up and Debbie quits her job.
