Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon spend some quiet time at the cabin in the woods that Patrick has just purchased. She notices that he's taken off his wedding ring. He explains how that was an important symbol of his past but now he's looking towards the future. He asks Teresa to marry him and she says yes! The two begin to plan a quiet ceremony but the more people they tell, the larger it becomes and Teresa gets overwhelmed when her family arrives and Abbott has hired a caterer.

But there's a bigger problem. Lazarus survived the house explosion. He's still alive and he's out to get Patrick Jane. Abbott and Cho consider keeping the information from Jane and Lisbon to allow them to have a stress free wedding but Abbott ends up telling Jane anyway and then he tells Lisbon. That means the wedding plans are changed once again. This time, as they prepare to get married at their cabin, Lazarus shows up to find an entire FBI team waiting to arrest him. With that done, the happy couple can finally tie the know.
