A strange man (the one that killed the Burton avatar) walks with a woman trying to figure out what happned to Aelita.

Back at the Fisher house, Burton, Flynne, and Burton's friends prepare for the ambush.

The firefight starts, but without the element of surprise, the hit squad fails.

There are two other members of the squad that almost got the jump on Burton, but Connor, their friends, comes and finishes them off.

Flynne heads back into the Sim, where she appears to be in her own body.

She talks to Wilf, a man who says that he can help her.

They go outside of the room she awoke him, where she learns that she's in London year 2100.

She doesn't know whether or not to believe anything.

Later that day, she tells Burton, who also doesn't believe her, and wants her to find out more information.

When she logs back in, Wilf sets up a meeting with her and the rest of the people in charge of their mysterious organization.

At the meeting, she demands that they help cure her mother , or she won't give them any information at all.

She logs out and talks things through with her brother, who is on her side no matter what she believes.

After their chat at the bar, her brother goes to Connor's to try and recruit him to help protect all the time. He reluctantly agrees.

The richest man in town, who uses VR to pleasure himself with attractive women, gets approached by the man who killed the avatar and offereed a large sum of money to take care of the Fishers.

He rejects the offer, until he suddenly changes his mind after he sees the money accredited into his account.

Back at the Fisher house, Flynne gets awoken by a sound coming from somewhere in the house.

She creeps downstairs and sees the kitchen light on. It's her mom.

She approaches her mom who thought she was in a dream. She reveals that she can see, and that she can see Flynne.

Burton bursts in, gun ready, and stops when he hears his mother admit she can see, and when he sees Flynne hugging her.

Burton and Flynne share an equally shocked and emotional look with each other.
