Season five of Vanderpump Rules starts off with Lala, Peter, James, Scheana, Ariana, Katie, Tom and Jax all back working at SUR, and our favorite servers are still as dramatic as ever. Within the first five minutes, it's clear that it is still Lala and James against everyone else. This season, the hostess and infamous DJ are causing problems because they are fat-shaming and trashing Katie on social media. DJ James is also going through personal drama because his parents are going through a divorce. 

However, the real drama starts when Jax tells Tom that he saw his friend Kristen kissing his current girlfriend, Brittany, "down south." Kristen, who is happy with new boyfriend Carter, chalks it up to being drunk and a not a big deal, while Brittany says it's a rumor and does not understand why her boyfriend Jax is spreading lies on her. Despite Brittany telling him to stop, Jax continues to tell everyone about what he "saw."

At the OK Magazine party, James and Lala approach the group and ask Katie if she's pregnant and say no one has been working on their "summer bodies." Jax nearly punches James, but because he is still on probation, everyone stops him. There is even more conflict when Ariana and Tom stand up for Lala and James, and it results in a fight between newly engaged Katie and Tom Schwartz.
