Micki is impressed by how Treys got along with the students and teachers. He admits he worked everything because she was gone. They argue because she left right when he and his mom talked more about commitment and babies.

The Walkers are eating lunch, and Liam doesn't want Cordell to dismiss Dan quickly. Liam reveals that he has PTSD and can't hear a gunshot without freaking out. When Gail comes in wanting to talk to Cordell, Liam goes out to the parking lot.

After seeing Dan, he breaks his headlight and then calls it in, so there is a reason to search the car.

Gail's tip checked out, and the other meth heads had the reindeer masks in their van. When they see the cops by Dan's truck, Liam tells Cordell what he did.

Denise is thrilled that Colton and August have become friends and are playing Christmas carols together. Liam talks to Denise alone.

Cordell arrives and sees Liam and Denise talking. The kids take advantage of his holiday spirit, and August confesses about his shoulder.

Trey is glad he and Micki talked because too much has been unsaid lately. Micki is unsure how to move forward, but Trey says they know and are afraid to admit it. They share an emotional kiss before she realizes she needs to go home.

Micki starts to leave Cordell a note at the Ranger's station, but Captain James and Cordell appear. The three of them share an emotional goodbye before she leaves.
