Jackson found Sam Parker. He got a parking ticket in Pittsburgh the day before. That's where his parents live. Of course, because everyone who moves to Colorado has parents in Pittsburgh.

What about the tank? Clem can go in and while it won't cure the HTF, it will be keep things satic while they search for Sam and the cure.

Max gives away the identity of Mr. Duncan when he recognizes the Mitch's signature in the sequence of covalent bonds circling on the screen in front of Jamie.
