The Flash Photos from "The Man Who Saved Central City"

Normally when a set of episodic photos are released, there is a description of the episode with it. Not so with The Flash Season 2 Episode 1, "The Man Who Saved Central City." The good news is we've seen The Flash Season 2 trailers and can kind of piece together what's coming our way, and we love a good guessing game.
So, it looks like there's a celebration of The Flash on the season premiere and a little party interruptus. How rude!
Something that really catches the eye is that the only time we see the new Flash suit is in a case. Why isn't Barry shown wearing it in any of the photos? Are we looking at before and after scenes or is there some other reason he's not wearing the new suit? What are your thoughts on that?

1. Flash Day - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
Apparently it's Flash Day in Cental City. See the balloons all colored to coordinate with his speedster suit? Not that we didn't think he'd save the day or anything, but it's nice to know they care enough to throw a party in his honor!
2. Waving to the Crowd - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
The Flash is, of course, careful to pay close attention to his adoring fans. He takes a moment to raise an arm and wave to those holding up colors in his honor. I really want to see what this is all about!
3. Alone in the Crowd - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
Professor Stein doesn't look nearly as amused as those around him. Maybe he should have gone with a group of friends to celebrate Flash Day! He looks so alone. Maybe he should have gotten a pair of Flash antennae for his head like that girl in the red is wearing!
4. Smash Those Atoms! - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
This is a peek at Atom-Smasher, shield down. He looks rather menacing, right? If he's there on The Flash's big day, that's a rather rude way to introduce himself, don't you think?
5. The Flash v Atom-Smasher Season 2 Episode 1
If we were going to go by size alone, we'd have to give the fight to Atom-Smasher. Of course, we know The Flash has a lot of speed on his side. You have to wonder of Atom-Smasher is hot under that giant coat. Odd fashion choice.
6. Backup - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
The Flash, with his new status as the city hero, has a lot of backup. It appears the entire police force is drawing weapons to go on the attack against Atom-Smasher. That leads us to believe they really haven't taken the time to fully comprehend this whole superhero business yet.
7. The Big Gun - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
Joe West ain't foolin' around! Skipping any little pistols in his pockets, he pulls out a very big (and from the looks of it, specialized) weapon to help in taking down the Atom-Smasher. Way to go, Joe!
8. Ready to Roll - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
The Flash is ready to roll at any time. There's really not much more we can say about this particular scene. The Flash show really likes to give us a lot of shots of the same scene so we're well prepared for what's to come.
9. Soaking Some Rays - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
Cisco and Joe are just hanging in the sun at this point, soaking up some rays. Whatever point this is in the story, who cares? They look comfortable. Note that Cisco is sporting some Flash colors!
10. The Little Gun - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
Never fear, Joe still has his little gun. Why he switched or whether this photo was taken before he grabbed The Big Gun? I guess we'll find out when we watch the episode!
11. It's Harrison Wells!! - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
What on earth is Harrison Wells doing back in the picture so soon? Do you think this is a mind trick by way of the preview photos and perhaps we're seeing a flashback, or is he really back? What happened during the singularity??
12. Slight Smile - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
Without his hood, The Flash is Barry Allen again. He's wearing a slight smile. Is he happy with how things went on his big day? We'll find out on October 6.
13. The Newlyweds - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
Wether they're still newlyweds on the show, they're still newlyweds to us! It seems like just yeterday Caitlin and Ronnie were tying the knot, doesn't it? It will be exciting to see how they act together these days.
14. The Look of Love - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
Barry and Professor Stein look on at Ronnie and Caitlin gaze at each other lovingly. That's the look of love, you guys! Just think, it won't be too long until Professor Stein is off on his own little project.
15. Happy Couple - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
So do you think Ronnie and Caitlin are going to be that couple who are constantly touching each other and making everyone else in the room wonder when they're going to bugger off and get a room of their own? Just saying. Get a room!
16. Looking Casual - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
Barry has the casual look. The festivities are over and things are back to normal at STAR Labs. Or are they? What is the look he has on his face? Is something going down?
17. Infiltrated - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
It sure looks like someone has infiltrated STAR Labs again. From the trailer we know that the Atom-Smasher manages to morph his way somewhere. Perhaps it's here? They look none too happy, not a single one of them. And Joe's got a gun drawn again!
18. Concerned Iris - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
Iris looks great in this photo, other than the fact she's obviously very concerned about what's happening in STAR Labs. I love the style she's rockin' with the plain white T. She carries it off nicely!
19. More Concern - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
Further proving there is major concern here, we're cutting away to Barry and Joe from another angle. See how worried they are? Imagine the photographer running to and fro grabbing these pics. Capture the concern!
20. Good Measure - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
This time we're ensuring we understand how freaked out the ladies are about what's happening. Notice the juxtaposition in the style choices of Iris and Caitlin? I'd think Caitlin, as a scientist, would want to be more comfortable for her work. Guess not!
21. What Happened?! - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
Something happened. Was The Flash smashed by the Atom-Smasher? It's never good when Barry ends up in the hospital bed. If he doesn't have Harrison Wells to push him to train to the next level, we're going to need those other Flashes to act as his proxy!
22. Nice Emblem - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
Cisco is pleased with the spiffed up new Flash costume. Not like we've seen it in action yet, as all of the other photos feature the older suit. I wonder what gives... What I'm wondering is how Barry chooses to use the hood only and when to use that harder looking face mask thing. For the time warp business, maybe? Bullets?
23. Dastardly Duo - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
Just when you thought it was safe to go outside, there's Heatwave and Captain Cold! Making lightning wherever they go, those two future legends. Legends! Can you even believe it? It will be interesting seeing how they behave before they go.
24. Fire It Up! - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
Mick Rory is all about firing things up, and he has his Heatwave gun pointed at something, hoping to blast it out of sight. What will it be, do you think? Would it even make a dent in Atom-Smasher?
25. Listening In - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
For some reason, when I look at this photo, it appears as if Barry is listening intently. Why doesn't he tell us why he's not wearing the new suit. What does it mean that he's wearing the old one in every single photo we've seen while the new one appears only in a case?
26. On Your Mark - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
The Flash is on his mark, preparing to take off in a race only he can win. Well, unless he's up against one of the other Flashes. Then I have no idea who would win. They have more experience, after all.
27. Get Set - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
The Flash still looks like he's on the ready. When will he actually go?! When those little lightning bolts come flashing off his body, and he is just speeding across town. That's a fun look.
28. Closeup - The Flash Season 2 Episode 1
How comfortable or uncomfortable would you imagine The Flash suit to be if you wore it for long periods of time? It kind of gives me a headache just looking at this picture. Being a superhero is hard!!
