Jeff Branson

Jeff Branson originated the role of All My Children's Jonathan Lavery in June, 2004. He was subsequently off the air from mid-April until August of 2005 while his character was believed dead in an explosion, but Branson remained on contract the whole time. The show always wanted him back.

Prior to landing this plumb role, Branson took advantage of a guest spot on NBC's Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2000. He had a small part that year in the film Shaft. And in 2002, he was in the film Wolves of Wall Street.

In 2003, Jeff played the role of a younger Alan Spaulding on the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. So far, the actor's career has been highlighted by a nomination in 2005 for a Daytime Emmy Award for his work on All My Children.

All My Children Quotes

Greenlee Smythe Lavery: Just - I tried to remember when we weren't stressed to the max. Our honeymoon may have been the best time ever. I was just hoping that maybe tonight we could feel like that for just a few hours, let you remember how much I love you, how happy I am that I'm your wife, just like that night.
Ryan Lavery: Come here.
Greenlee Smythe Lavery: What? What are you...
Ryan Lavery: I remember everything. I remember it was going to be the first time that we made love as husband and wife. And I remember thinking to myself that my bullet wound was easy compared to waiting to make love to you. I wanted you so bad. I want you now. I want you right now.

Ryan: Do you feel that?
Gillian: Your heartbeat.
Ryan: OUR heartbeat.
