Tragedy has struck DC Universe's Titans.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warren Appleby, who was the special effects coordinator on the superhero drama was killed during the rehearsal of a car stunt.
The outlet reports that a piece of the car broke off.
Titans is currently in production on its sophomore season, but production has been brought to a halt for two days.
"We are heartbroken and devastated by the passing of our treasured colleague, special effects coordinator Warren Appleby, after an accident which occurred at a special effects facility during the preparation and testing for an upcoming shoot," the show's producers, Warner Bros. TV, and DC Universe said in a statement.

"Warren is beloved by all who worked with him during an impressive 25-year career in television and motion pictures."
"The executive producers, along with everyone in the Titans family, Warner Bros. Television Group and DC Universe, wish to express our deepest condolences, and heartfelt love and support, to Warren’s family and friends at this most difficult time."
Titans was the first live-action series to debut on DC Universe. Appleby has been with the gritty Batman spinoff since the series first debuted.

He has an impressive list of TV credits that include The Strain, 11.22.63, Killjoys, Hemlock Grove, Transporter: The Series, and Happy Town.
He recently completed work as the special effects coordinator on It Chapter Two, and My Spy.
