Riverdale returned to the air on Wednesday night, and the young-skewing drama built a tenth vs. its fall finale to a 0.5 rating (1.3 million total viewers).
After that, All American scored another 0.2 rating (0.7 million viewers) in the demo. It really needs to start rising to make the case for renewal over the coming weeks.
Over on ABC, Schooled dipped two-tenths to a still respectable 1.1 rating (4.1 million total viewers). while The Goldbergs (4.8 million/1.2 rating) and Modern Family (4.6 million/1.2 rating) each took a hit.
Single Parents (3 million/0.8 rating) remained on the low side.
Chicago Fire (8 million/1.3 rating), Med (8.5 million/1.2 rating), and PD (7.2 million/1.1 rating) were all in line with their current ratings.
Over on Fox, The Masked Singer (6.9 million/2.2 rating) dipped another tenth but led the night.
