This marks the show's lowest ratings to date.
Will it recover next week? Time will tell.
Almost Family, which returned following a hiatus crashed to just 1.7 million total viewers and a 0.5 rating.
Don't expect this show to still be a thing come January.
The retention out of The Masked Singer has been worryingly low since the start.
As for the CMA Awards, they did 11.3 million viewers and a 2.0 rating.
In a surprising development, the telecast is up 12 percent in viewers year-to-year, and steady in the demo.
Riverdale and Nancy Drew each gained a tenth. Their live ratings may be low, but these shows get decent gains with DVR and streaming.
A controversial episode of Survivor was down to 6 million viewers and a 1.1 rating, a new season low.
S.W.A.T. held steady in the demo with another 0.5 rating.
Chicago Med (7.4 million/1.1 rating), Chicago Fire (7.2 million/1.1 rating), and Chicago P.D. (6.4 million/1.0 rating) were all steady in the demo, proving to be a resilient force in the face of stiff competition.
