Vincent D’Onofrio will be all about pure criminal intent on Daredevil.
The veteran actor has been cast on the upcoming drama as Wilson Fisk (better known as Kingpin), a powerful businessman in New York City.
The famous comic book villain will serve as a nemesis for the show's title character, Matt Murdock/Daredevil, the blind, crime-fighting attorney played by Boardwalk Empire‘s Charlie Cox.
Marvel’s Daredevil will center on Murdock, a lawyer with extraordinary senses who fights injustice in court by day and on the street by night.
It will likely be released some time in 2015.
D'Onofrio, meanwhile, portrayed Criminal Intent‘s Detective Goren for many years and his big screen resume includes role in JFK, Men in Black and Full Metal Jacket.
