Devo, you're so right!!! Kate Walsh worked her butt off all her life. At 14, she was working in a Burger King. She typed up reports for her stepfather to make money. All this woman knows is to work and work. I feel sorry for her. She worked as a waiteress in Manhatten, she worked everywhere!!! She deserves this. I'll watch totally watch it. I was going to watch it anyway. I LOVE HER!!! She deserves more than 2 seconds. Sometimes, I think she's not even in the episode! Yet, she's an awesome actress that should be in award winning movies!!

From what I understand it's in Walsh's contract that if the spinoff fails, she goes back to GA. Wouldn't YOU make that a condition of the deal? The woman's busted her butt for years in Hollywood. Give her a break and support the spinoff. Plus, she'll FINALLY get all the screen time she deserves. Not the blink-and-you'll-miss-em entrances and exits she's been given in many of the last GA episodes. If you're inspired by/admire strong, independent, accomplished women, then
WATCH the spinoff/support the show. If yu just like Addison, WATCH the spinoff/support the show.

im excited for the show because that means that addison and alex have to hook up first. I've been waiting for that for like EVER. I wonder what mark does because it says that he "fails" at his 60 no sex thingy. Hmmm... i wonder who it is that makes him "fail"???

I am really tired of not seeing the show Grey's Anatomy continue on a regular basis. They just don't seem to care if we continue to watch current programs. Just drop the plot like a hot potato and put on what they please without any warning. Discusting! ABC needs to wise up.

First of all, I think that Grey's is losing its touch. Second season was awesome and third is stuggling to match. Kate Walsh is an awesome actress and I love her, but I fear for her career in GA. Frankly I fear for GA. If the show flops...will it be the end of GA as we know. Will it slowly crumbling like the Russian Empire, once great, then taken over by the own citizens? What is GA falls because of the viewers? Personally, GA need a boost, I'm just not sure how, but I know Private Practice can't be the solution. Anyway, when the show Private Practice, they better show it on a different night at 9:00 ( I can't stay up to 10:00 to watch T.V ) Anyway, Kate Walsh is hot and amazing!!!

i dont really like addison because I LOVE MCDREAMY,DEREK, PATRICK DEMPSEY, but still i want her to stay on the show . I vote 4 addisex (addison + alex) i think shell cheat on mcsteamy with alex. like she hasnt done it before , you saw what she did to derek.

I love Kate Walsh and I am totally gonna give the show a chance. If it doesn't work out, she has that clause in her contract that says she can go back to Grey's Anatomy. So either way, I'm happy.

Team Private Practice! I've been disappointed in Grey's of late. I think it's lost the edge that made it so special in seasons 1 and 2. Hopefully, Shonda will find that edge again in a fresh start, and the character of Addison is a perfect "jumping off" point.
To me, the best thing they can do is put Private Practice on Thursday nights at 10:00.

We're especially excited about the introduction of the clueless male gyno, who'll meet Addison after she accidentally walks on him in the middle of administering a pelvic exam to a woman he's asking for love-life advice, a character-establishing encounter that will be punctuated by a wisecracking nurse practitioner who declares with an eye-roll, "For a guy who spends all day staring into vaginas, you sure don't know anything about the opposite sex, doc!" Later, to the surprise of no one, Addison and the gynecologist will have an impulsive sexual encounter in an unoccupied exam room that complicates her romantic pursuit of Taye Diggs, setting up the first season's primary romantic storyline.

In the spin off can Denny come back???? no only kidding.. I like Addison and i will watch the spin off if its shown in UK but I would not like anything to detract from Greys...It is truley the best thing ever... I love Izzie.....She needsa good man to cheer her up.....this time one who stays alive.

I have to admit I did not like Addison when she first appeared on GA. ( I have this thing about ANYONE interfering with Der and Mer. But, as time has moved on so have I. I REALLY like her, now ,that she and derrick are divorced. I also like Kate as an actor and a real person. I too was not comfortable with a spin off from Grey's in the (3) Season. It just seemed to soon for that. I really thought it would be disastrous. But, now I 'm going to watch and wait and see. I will miss her on grey's and I do wish her all the success she deserves. I just don't want the writing for grey's to get lost in the schuffle. There are still hundreds of story lines that need to be told about each character on grey's. Just PLEASE don't lose this momentumn.

My feeling is - although I hope I'm wrong - is that if the spin off flops then that will hurt Grey's ratings in turn too.
I just think that it's too risky - even for Grey's - to do a spin off so soon and take a main, and major, character off the original.

one or two? I'm for two. They belong to the same world so characters can visit and go back and forth. I think this is a great idea! It opens up more story lines, and who is to say that McSteamy doesn't follow her there? He followed her to Seatle from New York. Way to go SHONDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

although i am no fan of kate, i still want her to stay with the GA team. I also dont like the idea of shonda sharing her talent at the moment, besides GA still has a long way to go even though its still the best show. All this spin off thingy sounds to me like a gold digging conspiracy.

As much as I have come to love Kate and the character she plays I don't want her to have her own show. I like her on GA of course as long as she is'nt with Derek. From what I have read she does get to come back if it's a flop. And another thing Im not crazy about the title either it sounds to generic.
