Lipstick Jungle

Brooke Shields recently spoke with Extra about her family.  Brooke, already a mother of two, Rowan, 5, and Grier, 2, is looking to expand her family.  However, this time, she plans on adopting.  According to her "There are a lot of babies out there in our immediate backyard that need families, so I'm starting to think about that."

When asked if she thinks her children should follow in her footsteps in get into acting, she said "There's a part of me -- the stage mom part of me -- that thinks they're genius.  The other part of me hopes to God that they don't want to do it, because it's just too hard... it's based on rejection, so I hope they don't."

Interestingly enough, there was a Lipstick Jungle episode, "Pink Poison," about a child actor.  In it the teenage girl was forced to take on too adult roles by her mother.  Think this was speaking about Brooke's early career and what she wants her children to avoid?
