I'm quite sure that appearing of Danny in last episode means something important, maybe Izzy has a tumor? Shonda has never add things which doesn't connect with general plot. I love that great connection betweeen Mer and Der. That last scene when Derek kiss Meredith on the cheek was just awsome. I think that writers want to show real relationship between Mer and Der without any conditions like "I have a wife","only sex". Please, give us some more of that!

Anyone who has ever lost someone they love thinks about them a lot. I don't think its completely unrealistic for Izzie to have 'seen' him with such a difficult case that had to do with Denny. It's hard to ignore feelings you have for someone that used to be there with you and got taken away from you in a terrible way. I think JDM is a great actor and I'm glad he is willing to come back and smile for all of us. I hope Izzie uses Alex to help her with this. That was great to see them snuggling at the beginning of the episode. =)

Oh, and as for Hahn, I can't say I'll miss her since she wasn't exactly my favorite character but the entire situation is just so wrong that she should stay.

Haha...LOVED the drinks/characters description. I would change Mer's though as for that expensive wine. If you let it sit for a while, the wine gets better and tastes better. That is for me at least. Derek = daiquiri? I'd say he's more like a martini made with the best quality of ingredients that taste so good. I'm craving a martini, lol.
Mark better get a good storyline although being the comic relief suits him so good. He makes me laugh more than anyone, maybe we can get more of Derek/Mark conversations, they are the best.
And as for Denny, it is enough. Izzie has to let him go already. I loved him but it's time to move on.

I am a Gizzie fan but I agree with justannoyed, Katie has a lot more genuine chemistry and fire with JDM than she does with Justin.
If I have to pick between AI and JDM in a new role hooking up with Katie, I would pick JDM any day.
Nothing beats Gizzie for me but right now Shonda does not even have the courage to show them as best friends.
Thanks for mentioning it btw.
I wish all the critics would be a lot more vocal about what is being done to George lately. The extras have more story than he does, and also about how ridiculous it is that Gizzie are now strangers.
They were very vocal in bashing the couple so now I hope they are equally as vocal in defending their friendship.

I think Denny is there to take care of Izzie, when he asks her if she's okay you can see he is like her guardian angel or something. I don't think he is going to go anywhere, he will continue to randomly appear and see how she's doing.

Thanks for bringing up the lack of George screentime and the killing of his friendship with Izzie. I am upset they killed the Gizzie couple but I am even MORE upset they killed the friendship and only use George as a comedic plot. TR can do better.

They shouldn't have killed off Denny to begin with. Maybe the solution is to bring back JDM as a new character. You know someone who looks very much like Denny....BUT, isn't Denny. How interesting would it be to see what Izzie goes through. JDM could have more of an edgy vibe. Maybe a former associate of Hunt. Military kind. Izzie would be forced to deal with the loss of Denny and also deal with her attraction to this new person dispite the completely diffrent personality.
Ultimately, what is missing since JDM left is someone who sparked off another character. That just cannot be "acted". JDM and Heigl had a natural fire between them. That is SO not there with Justin (Alex).
I say bring back JDM as a full time NEW character and watch the ratings soar!
