With two weeks to go until the return of Grey's Anatomy, we will have to make do with a repeat, "These Ties That Bind," this evening. It's the seventh episode of this season.

There's a lot to say about this episode, and our episode guide to "These Ties That Bind" pretty much covers all the action from the opening moments to the closing credits.

Our photo and video sections contain some great images and clips, and our pages of the episode's quotes and music should help with the songs and lines that you loved.

Fortunately (or not, depending on your view), this guy plays a big role.

No preview...and probably won't be a preview for 2 weeks. Kinda makes me mad. LOL!!! And another thing that makes me way pissed is seeing Denny's mug on the ep. I am so tired of him. I can't wait till the march ep till he is gone for good. They have figured out that Izzy has a tumor. She is a great actress, but they have wore out the sickness and seeing dead Denny. I've moved passed that. Give her 15 minutes and then let her go. RIP Miss Izzy!!!!

Was there a preview for the next episode??

The good thing is that maybe tonight we get a preview for the next episode...

They are REALLY dragging this Izzy thing out. Two weeks in a row barely any progress, and with 2 hour episodes no less! I want to find out what's wrong with her without resorting to spoilers!

Right like the ferry crash episodes were during march sweeps for season 3, the bomb episode in season 2 was the superbowl episode or february sweeps.

It one of the periods of the year when the national ratings of the popularity of U.S. TV shows are studied. TV stations normally deliberately schedule main events in plots in some shows in order to boost television ratings.

What's the March sweeps?

Drcookchick

There're reruns because they're getting ready to do the March sweeps.

maybe they're making some time pass along in the show so that Derek and Mark can get over their fight and the air to pass through.......clean karma and all that

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."

Meredith (closing voiceover)

Lexie: [narrating] Grief may be a thing we all have in common, but it looks different on everyone.
Mark: It isn't just death we have to grieve. It's life. It's loss. It's change.
Alex: And when we wonder why it has to suck so much sometimes, has to hurt so bad. The thing we gotta try to remember is that it can turn on a dime.
Izzie: That's how you stay alive. When it hurts so much you can't breathe, that's how you survive.
Derek: By remembering that one day, somehow, impossibly, you won't feel this way. It won't hurt this much.
Bailey: Grief comes in its own time for everyone, in its own way.
Owen: So the best we can do, the best anyone can do, is try for honesty.
Meredith: The really crappy thing, the very worst part of grief is that you can't control it.
Arizona: The best we can do is try to let ourselves feel it when it comes.
Callie: And let it go when we can.
Meredith: The very worst part is that the minute you think you're past it, it starts all over again.
Cristina: And always, every time, it takes your breath away.
Meredith: There are five stages of grief. They look different on all of us, but there are always five.
Alex: Denial.
Derek: Anger.
Bailey: Bargaining.
Lexie: Depression.
Richard: Acceptance.
