As previously reported, Castle will air a special episode on April 12. It will mock the late-night NBC debacle and feature Tom Bergeron as a murdered talk show host.

Now, Entertainment Weekly reports that Julie Gonzalo will appear on another television-inspired installment of the drama: she'll play a  high school friend of Beckett’s on a May episode that features the death of a reality TV contestant.

How does this come about? Gonzalo (most recently seen on Eli Stone) portrays a gorgeous restaurateur who finds herself mixed up in the aforementioned investigation.

The installment will be titled “Food to Die For" and will also feature cameo by celeb chef Rocco Dispirito.
