Mitch Pileggi to Reprise Role on Supernatural?
Although it's still months away from premiering, we know a couple spoilers about season six of Supernatural:
- Castiel and Bobby will return for it.
- Sam will recruit Bobby out of retirement.
Now, Michael Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly has spilled a major casting rumor.
In his latest spoiler column, the writer says sources have told him veteran actor Mitch Pileggi may return to Supernatural this fall in the recurring role of Sam and Dean’s presumed-dead grandfather. He hasn't appeared on the series since 2008.
Most recently, Pileggi has guest-starred on hits such as Grey's Anatomy and Castle. What might his character's return mean for Supernatural? Theorize away now!

Okay these guys are the hottset people on this planet. Like, seriously. Not even kidding. What can I do to jsut meet them! They are freaking amazing actors, and Supernatural is the best show that has ever happened! I love everyting about it!

It'll be weird, no matter what. If he's still alive (what with the "presumed-dead" and all), he'd better have some major age make-up on because last we saw him was in the 70s.
