Lisa LoCicero to Guest Star on Bones' Jersey Shore Episode

by at . Comments

Think Jersey Shore and General Hospital with a little Real Housewives sprinkled in... then mixed together Bones style. The third episode of the coming season (which premieres September 23), features Brennan and Booth investigating a fitness guru's death.

The case of Ritchie “The V” Genaro brings soap opera star Lisa LoCicero on board as Janine Genaro, the mother of the deceased. “Think Victoria Gotti meets Real Housewives Of New Jersey,” a source says of LoCicero’s character.

Lisa LoCicero is coming from General Hospital to Bones.

As for the Jersey Shore tie-in? LoCicero could play mom to no less than the MTV show's own Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, who's been approached to play Ritchie.

“We’re not sure if it’ll actually happen or not,” series boss Hart Hanson said of bringing The Situation quotes to this guest starring role on Bones. “Talks are ongoing.”

This Bones episode – titled “The Maggots In The Meathead” – will riff heavily on Jersey Shore, according to Fancast. The tribute/mockery of the reality series will include a scene featuring a fist-pumping club mix of the Bones theme song.

Wow.
