I really enjoyed this episode, I think it has been one of the best this season. It was good on the terms that it was a one off, and I enjoyed seeing the characters in a different format.
I think this was Alex, Bailey and Callie's episode. The season has been extremely focused on Cristina's PTSD, and it was nice to see more of the others. I loved Alex at the end when he was joking with Lily about not doing drugs. I knew he would be great in Peds the moment he treated that little girl who didn't feel pain in Season 3. Also, so sad about Mary, was not expecting her to go like that...great episode!

If I wanted to watch documentaries, I would just go for Reality TV. I like the usual drama in GA and this episode was very disappointing.

I hope this is the last experimental episode we see in GA. I hated last seasons Time Warp episode, it was BORING. This was a bit better, and I'm glad we've seen a very grown up Alex acing it with Lily. Not enough Merder, but I guess it's a balancing act with the whole cast. Avery is brewing for a bust up in 7.07.
Is Calazone going to appear in 7.07? Or just Callie returning on her own cos she should never have gone to Africa? I can't see how Arizona is only going to be written out for a couple of episodes as JC has only just had haby.

I hate the format of this episode. The story was great... Hate that mandy more didn't make it... Love that Cristina and arizona are leaving together. But, I hope they do not make another episode like this. I got dizzy of watching the camara moving so much.

I have to say, didn't expected this in the episode. So I was kinda confused at the beginning. At first I hoped it was just an introduction, but it was the entire episode.
Don't get me wrong, I liked the story. I just wouldn't have used it as an episode in the 7th season. I would have used as a pilot, I guess. At least, the way they told the story. As a documentary. In my opinion I would use the structure of the documentary to introduce the hospital and the doctors. Because now they're telling you things you already know. About the doctors, relationships and friendships and of course the shooting.
The only new thing I've heard was that Robbins and Torres are moving away. Which I hate by the way. I want them to stay. And I didn't like the part where Mary dies.

This episode to me it was extremely lame and Boring. So boring that I picked up a book while watching and I never do that while watching GA ever.

Very interested to see how they bring Arizona back after only 2-3 episodes, Africa is a pretty big deal and she isn't suppose to miss that many episodes, I am hoping for time jumps because I will be disappointed in her if she doesn't see her project through.

I'm surprised there aren't more comments about Arizona and Callie! How the heck will they be on the show if they're off to Africa for -- what? -- two years, one year?
Also that whole alarm system debacle was funny and sad. What a waste of that million!
Years ago they had a documentary-style episode of ER. It was big news in tv back then. Anyway, I was saddened that Mary died at the end. I sure didn't see that coming.

I am personally not a fun of documentaries. And actors pretending not to be actors to assume their roles as their identities for the documentary...very tricky.
Though it had some good parts. They gave a guy arms though I didn't like the actress who played his wife (she's the crazy character who cut Violet's baby out of her).
Alex really did step up on this one. Callie and Arizona moving to Africa. That was a surprise. Lexie and the ID situation, funny. Jackson and his freak out...okay, I really don't like Teddy. The Chief is acting like he's advertising the hospital with his cheesy lines.
Not a lot of MerDer stuff. Though I enjoy Cristina's solo dialogue..."Being a hero has its price".
Can't wait for next week!

Alex killed it this episode! the guy sings too! too bad Mary got killed :( also did anyone notice Avery?? his meltdown scene was good. I was surprised thy didn't cover April during this, she was a part of the shooting too. And even Teddy got less footage.

Uggghhhh!!! I found this episode incredibly boring. I'm a fan and I never miss the show, but for the first time ever watching Grey's I was scanning through the other TV channels looking for something more entertaining.

I like Yang's storyline because it shows that she's an actual human being. I believe that after the traumatic event she'll be back slowly, but not as hard core as she used to be.
Karev is the guy we all love to hate...the typical guy. I like him a lot.
I liked the documentary style of the ep, but I think it was an ok ep overall.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED this episode! It kind of snapped you back to the fact that Cristina is not the ONLY one going through the PTS from the shooting. Everyone is dealing with it in their own time and way. I knew it was only a matter of time before Avery cracked. It was heartbreaking. Alex building the trachea and singing for the little girl warmed my little black heart so much, I wished I could reach through the tv and hug him! LOVED it. Next weeks episode looks INSANE!!! I'm really ready for Cristina to get back to surgery.

I really enjoyed this episode. I was shocked they killed off Mandy Moore - that's like killing a kitten! Then I realized it made sense, because this show is all about the curve balls life can throw at you. Sometimes you survive a shooting spree, sometimes you don't wake up from routine surgery. Feel blessed and lucky for what you have.
According to Shonda, Cristina will come back in a big way soon!
