Cougar Town

Michael McDonald has directed a number of Cougar Town episodes.

But the former Mad TV star will soon step in front of the camera and recur on the sitcom in the role of a restaurant owner.

Describes creator Bill Lawrence of the character: He's a “really pretentious [expletive]” owner of “a snooty wine bar a block away from Grayson’s bar.”

As you might expect (and get excited over), TV Line forecasts some "unfriendly competition" to break out as Jules and company frequent both establishments.
