I miss the first seasons of DH... at least Beth is gone!
And yeah Renee did a good job on the room, but I thought she just wanted it because Bob and Lee were letting someone else do it... So I feel like she was more of just proving to them that she could decorate the room, after all she is a designer.

Why not let Renee adopt an older child? As the adoptive mother of an older child (a 17 year old boy, 20 years ago) I know that there is a great need for people willing to adopt older children and if you prepare yourself, it can be a very rewarding endeavor. Also this would be a very good way to promote adoption of older children.

Never expressed a want for a child? Did you not see the episode where she did the bedroom for Bob and Lee? She didnt say anything explicitly but it was obvious what she wanted, and they built it up for a few episodes. That was totally NOT out of place or random.
