NCIS Spoilers: Season Finale Serial Killer Details!

at . Comments

NCIS' eighth season will conclude with a dramatic serial killer plot that spans several episodes, beginning April 5. TV Line unearthed some interesting details today.

A psychopath dubbed the Port-to-Port Killer is at the center of the story arc, and this is one formidable adversary. Possibly even more so than the Reynosa Cartel.

We say that because Gibbs will expand the team to combat him.

At least two new special agents will soon be introduced to assist with the case.

One of the two new recurring characters is described as “a well-traveled, experienced federal agent who is happy to be reunited with his team in their new DC home.”

Presumably, this is in addition to Sarah Jane Morris' character, E.J. Barrett.

Morris' newly-introduced character just arrived from overseas in this week's NCIS episode, leaving quite an impression on Tony and causing a stir among many fans.

Michael Weatherly (Tony) previously said that Morris’ Special Agent will “arc out toward the end of [the] season and be a part of that epic season-finale situation.”

The cast is under contract for next season, but do you think the serial killer will claim the life of one of our team members? Or E.J.? Sound off in the comments!

Although Zeva has done a fantastic job of replacing Kate; I dont think anyone can replace Mike Franks!!!!

I guess I bought into all of the hype. The finale was somewhat empty (to me at least) but will still look forward to next season. Hated to see Mike Franks killed off would have rather seen some others go instead (Vance, E. J., or Ziva (I still miss Kate)

WHY did they kill off Mike Franks???????Was it the actor's decision or the producers'??????????

I hate to see Mike Franks killed off. Hopefully next season will start out with Gibbs and Franks in bed and Franks getting killed was just a dream.

I loved the ending last night! Can't wait to see what happens next season. Too long to wait though. Hated to see Mike Franks gone though, I really enjoyed his character. Will be watching reruns and USA until the new season starts.

Hopeing Muse Watson is not sick,no one has said if he is they would not have killed him off. the show will not be the same without him. bring him back some HOW::::::::

Why did they kill off Mike Franks? He was one of my favorite characters.

Not another one of my favorites ! ! First Kate and now Mike. If they don't get rid of EJ and what's left of her team, NCIS will definitely not be watched in my house. TOO many bad changes. Speaking of Bad changes, McGee needs to put on a few pounds. He doesn't look healthy. I liked him before he lost all that weight.

I love the dynamic of the old team. Don't mess with perfection. I do like the chemistry between Ziva and the new guy! Vance has something to hide, I have always had that feeling from the time he opened that file and shredded the document. The new Sec Nav director really put him in his place! Can't wait for next season. Will watch the reruns and marathons! Love NCIS!

I think with the killing off of Mike Franks. Since he ws Gibbs mentor, Gibbs should carry Mike Franks sidearm as tribute, in the following seasons.

NCIS Quotes

Tony: One other question, I know you're an expert in English history. And I was just wondering, have you ever heard of Archibald Drummond, the 17th Earl of Trent?
Ducky: The Earl of Trent. No, I can't say I have. Why?
Tony: I was just wondering. Thanks.

McGee: All right. Well you should probably know that Abby and I used to date?
Bishop: Ew. Like, each other?
McGee: Yeah.
Bishop: Wait - isn't that a violation of rule 12, never date a....
McGee: It was a long time ago. After we'd broken up, one night I went to her lab. Found a scribbled piece paper; a list. Potential boyfriends had to fulfill certain conditions by a pre-arranged date or else, goodbye.
Bishop: Such as.
McGee: Things started off relatively normal: opening the door for her, flowers, putting the seat down. Then around number 8, it gets uh...
Bishop: What?
McGee: Does she know you have these?
Bishop: Does she know you have these?
McGee: Yeah she wasn't happy when she found out.
Bishop: These are all very specific.
McGee: Yeah.
Bishop: These ideas apply to you?
McGee: No those rules weren't in place when we were together. At least I don't think so.
Bishop: What's with the two month cutoff? Abby's sabotaging herself. I've seen stuff like this before. We have to talk to her.
