Not Mike Franks!!! I loved his character. He said what he thought and if you didn't like it, get over it. His interaction with Gibbs was always a high point. I hope E.J. is the killer because I can't stand her either. Don't mess with my group!

EJ IS the serial killer. The man doing the actual killing is under her control and doing her bidding. That's why the director of NCIS brought her in.

I loved Mike! Why did they kill him off?????? If he isn't ill in real life, I think this was an awful move. I hope he is well.
They better not kill of Ziva!!!! or Tony!!!!
I cannot stand that woman, EJ. Hope she's out of the show. It's also not believable that Tony would so blithely have an affair with her.
McGee is toooooo thin! He needs to gain a few pounds. He doesn't look good right now.

I hope that NCIS kills off the new agent from Spain (EJ) since it is very unrealistic that an agent that young would be a Team Leader....ALSO, hope that MIKE FRANKS stays on show as ghostly mentor to Gibbs as an ongoing character....He was most earthy, believable actor on show and certainly made it better!

As a longtime fan I too was disappointed that they killed off Mike Franks. I was hoping to see more of him on the show, he made it much better,not that it needed much help. Maybe they will do a Magnum PI and bring him back as a con man twin lol,like they did with Jeff Mackays character . On the plus side he lives on in reruns.

I love NCIS the cast is great. This is the one show that my family and I sit down every night and watch all the reruns over and over again. In away I guess you can say this is the show that brings my family and I closer. Thanks

I cant believe that the producers chose to kill Mike Franks. But it appears that Ducky may find out that he had a terminal illness,
like when Jenny was killed. His heavy smoking and coughing hinted that he may have been suffering from lung cancer. Sorry to see him go though. He was one of my favorite characters. I think we might see him as a "ghost" advising Gibbs in later episodes though. My concern now is, what will happen to his daughter-in-law and his granddaughter. I hope that is covered in a later episode. This show rarely leaves anything unexplained.

NCIS is the BOMB!!!!! Have watched since it began. Don't know why the killed off "Mike Franks"!!!! He played his character so well. It upset me to see him taken down, and taken down so easily!! Not consistent with his character at all. That was Gibbs tripping on a peanut shell and breaking his neck! "Mike" did really look ill, great makeup job, but like others here, my husband I had a debate over whether "Mike" is really ill. Glad to see he isn't. Thanks.
I wish they would get rid of that EJ their are too many people running around. I really like MC Gee and abby and hope they stay for a long time they are worth watching

I sure hope Mike Frank's dead is a fake. I love this guy n love seeing him on the show . He is part of the team . He the boss of the boss . I'm sad n mad... think it is a dumb move.

Muse Watson did a great job in acting sick on NCIS, so well, people think he is sick. He is actually preparing to perform on stage at Branson this holiday season in a musical! Muse Watson, we will miss you on NCIS and thank you for the great role you played as Mike Franks! You added another layer to the show all these years.

That was an absolutely terrible episode. Not only because they gave everything away in the first 3 mins., but all in all after all the hype, it was a pure bomb.

Please do not change any characters ( or add any) on the best show on TV. Why did they kill off Mike Franks????? Is the actor Muse Watson sick???? He always added an interesting dimension to whatever episode he was on. He will be missed!
There are so few shows that are as interesting as NCIS. I even enjoy the reruns.
Thanks to all the actors who make NCIS such a great show!!!!!!

At first I didn't like Gibbs as he was accusing Harmon Rabb of murder. That just wasn't right. So I didn't watch the first few years. Then started to watch the reruns and got hooked. Since 24 is off the air NCIS is the best there is. I liked Ziva better when she was a Massad agent. They have muzzeled her agression during the past yaer. Let her do her thing and kick some butt. Great chemistry and Pauley is fantastic. What compasion.
Besides how can someone who sleeps in a coffin be bad. More Cafpow. I miss Kate.

I loved Mike Franks, why kill him off, his occasional apperances made for a great show, why not kill off Vance or one of the new people. Makes me sad and will miss his, think it was a dumb move.

I hope they don't kill off one of the main characters, I mean, they already took the life of one of their characters early in the series run, and another one a few years later, they don't have anything else to prove.
Every show needs to take some pointers from ER in what NOT to do. That show lost its entire original cast, had a high frequency of character deaths, and got very gimmicky towards the end (helicopter crashes, plane crashes, ambulance bombing, shootout, you name it, they did it). If NCIS kills any of their main characters especially McGee and Tony, then they are setting themselves up for ruin. Fans can only take so much abuse from the producers and writers. We don't like being treated like morons who will still tune in when the show stops being what it once was.

McGee is probably going to die. He foreshadowed his death in the last episode the same way that Kate foreshadowed her own. I hope I'm wrong, but rewatch the last episode. He says something like, "What would you do if someone slit my throat?" Kate made a comment about being shot about an episode or so before she was shot :(
Abby: I knew that guy was trouble. He's like an evil McGee.

There are so few shows that are as interesting as NCIS. I even enjoy the reruns.
