If for some reason you aren’t aboard ship Mikita, tonight’s episode, "Covenants" must have been horrible for you to sit through. But if you are like the rest of us, I can only imagine the cheering that went on!
Finally, Mikita becomes MIKITA!
From the first review I conducted about this show, I said that my wish was for Michael to turn against Percy and team up with Nikita to take down Division.
It took them a very, very, very long time to get there, but they are there.
As for Michael, I shed tears when he told Nikita his plans for his family. Percy is a disgraceful human being, who we found out, wanted Michael dead.
Michael was supposed to blow up with his wife and daughter. Shane West and Maggie Q were incredible, their performances moving, which made this my favorite episode of the season.
I never would have guessed that Kasim was Division at one point.I sympathize for Alex’s character, and her situation. Although I’m still not 100% positive that Nathan isn’t involved with Division in any way (for some reason I believe he would be dead if wasn’t), Alex seems to really care about him.
Of course she doesn’t want to be alone, and what girl wouldn’t jump on the opportunity to have a hot guy keep her company while she’s on the run?
Tonight was the perfect blend of action, romance, and betrayal.
The look on Michael’s face when he thought of his daughter, and the look in his eyes when he approached Percy at the end could have been two different people for how different his emotions were. I’d also like to note that I couldn’t be happier that Nikita killed Kasim.
Though the episode ended with the amazing uniting of Mikita, we should not forget about sorry Ari! Nikita turned on him, and she is now a priority on his enemy list.
