Next week, Teddy puts her husband's life in her peers' hands when he's rushed to the OR for surgery and she's called away on another case, while Meredith and Derek receive the long-awaited news about Zola.
Callie and Jackson come under fire when their patient experiences complications; and Meredith and Alex are involved in a life-threatening situation when they travel to a neighboring hospital.
Shaping up like a dark, serious episode tailor-made for November sweeps.

Shonda just tweeted that she checked with the "powers that be" and she is confirming that tonight'a episode if Grey's is the last until January, and next week's PP is also the last until January. No more speculating. It's official.

I think Alex needs to do some more shirtless scenes. That's all I'm saying.

I don't think Zola dies, I think Mer saying she doesn't want a baby means she doesn't want another baby if she can't have Zola. I don't even want to speculate about the 'it's been over for a while' bit. Trailers can be misleading, she could be talking to Derek, Lexie, or even Alex since he's with her in the ambulance, especially since he seems to want to be a bit of a martyr, perhaps Mer is bringing up Izzie and suggesting he has to move on eventually.
And Cristina crying - I think there will be some form of complication with Henry's surgery, and she will discover that it is Henry (since they appear to be hiding it from her). That, or the more obvious 'something might have happened to Mer'.
Read about the crazy cliffhanger - I'm thinking something happens to Alex (maybe Mer but i think Alex is more likely). After all, season 8 is supposed to focus on the originals, and we haven't really had an Alex-centric episode yet, and I'm thinking it might be less-believable to put Mer thro

@merfan2 I was simply asking if any of you have heard other official announcements to confirm when the succeeding episode will air. I don't see the need for such condescending answers and tones to my question when that is what this site is for. To share information and opinions about the shows we're equally interested in. And my comment regarding Shonda was in response to another user's reply about her.

I second that Gabi :). Utterly ridiculous. Zola IS McBaby. Just because one persons adopted doesn't mean that child isn't yours. Some people need to Grow up. Mature
