Justin Long was incredible as the Paul/male Jess and if he were to be in the series for the long haul it would be Team Paul all the way. But for now it is Team Schmidt 100% he is ridiculously funny!

Btw, my favorite line was probably Schmidt saying "Beautiful savage", just cracked me up.

I really like this show, there isn't an episode that doesn't have me belly laughing, with my dogs looking at me like I've gone insane. I ultimately would like Jess and Nick together, I just love Nick, but way down the line. Build up! I like Paul for now, he's so funny and adorable. Schmidt is hysterical and one of my favorite characters. Winston is like the straight man to Schmidt, maybe not as funny, but necessary for reactions to antics. Great show, can't wait to see what else they have in store for us!

Justin Long was perfect as the male version of Jess. And I agree, this was probably the best episode yet. Good points about Schmidt. Nick is just jealous. That's why he's so grumpy and annoying. He just doesn't know he's jealous.

I was very hot and cold on this show for awhile. I often found Jess more annoying than adorable because her quirkiness was too over the top for me at times. However these last 2 episodes they've seemed to find a nice balance and this one was by far my favorite of the season so far. The characters all have an underlying sweetness to them and I like that CeCe has become integrated more with the group.

my wife and I watched the turkey cooking episode which was our first for this sit com. Maybe because I am a bit quirky or a bit earthy but I laughed my ......head off through the entire thing. My wife thought it was very funny too. We're over 60 but I'm guessing younger folks will like it too.
Love New Girl since day one ("penis" show was not a fav, but that's just me) I love the actors/characters,and writing. Missed it so much during the world series. Hope it has a long, long run

Team Paul... Nick and Jess shouldn't happen now. Maybe down the road, but for now I absolutely adore Justin Long as Paul so I hope he sticks around.

I'm Team Nick in the long run, but Team Paul short-term. Zooey Deschanel and Justin Long have some adorable chemistry, and Paul's presence will hopefully be the push Nick needs to start loosing up.
Winston and Cece are rounding out as characters, but Schmidt...Schmidt for the win! From him being the first to give in to Jess' Thanksgiving plans to his "Oh, Mrs. Beverly from the mailbox!" upon seeing the neighbor's dead body, he's just so fantastic. He's like everyone's loveable little brother.

I'm team no one at the moment, but I do like Nick and Jess together as friends. I've thought from the first episode that Schmidt will end up getting there first. complicating matters even further for Nick.
Loved this episode, this one and the last have really made me love the show, I wasn't sure at first and I almost gave up after episode 3, but I'm glad I stayed with it.

I was team Nick, but not anymore. He's obnoxious, annoying, and doesn't realize what a catch Jess is! I'm on team Paul right now, and Justin Long is just perfect!
Wow, the hubs and I laughed hysterically during this entire episode. Every person in the group has such a different dynamic. It lends so much to the show. I loved Schmidt & his cooking. I'm the same way, clean hands! Cece trying to get him to yell was awesome! Oh the horror of the pudding!
Justin Long as Paul was awesome. His quirky character played right into Jess' and it should make for interesting scenarios with Nick. I'm not sure he recognizes his jealousy yet. Let it build because it will only get funnier.
This is the best new comedy of the season. I can't wait for the Christmas episode!
