With the information from this episode, I'm wondering if Jack and fake Amanda are involved in Daniel's shooting. Emily planted fake Amanda's zippo in the writer's house, and fake Amanda has been growing more unsteady and jealous with each episode. It makes sense that she would try to exact on Revenge through someone Emily appears to care about, and we know that she's already capable of murder. And although I don't think Jack shot Daniel in the season opener, it can't be just a coincidence that he's on the beach and ready to pull Daniel away from the shore.
I don't know...as we draw nearer to the ill-fated engagement party, I get more and more worried. I hope that (a) Daniel isn't actually dead, but just wounded, and that (b) Emily did not have anything to do with his shooting. I suspect (b) is true, because there is a lot to gain by marrying Daniel.
Needless to say, I love this show!

Great show! Nolan's disappointed line, Nolan's Bad Girl line, Victoria thinking she was breaking up RealAmanda/Daniel when she was pushing them closer together, Nolan/RealAmanda/Daniel at the firing range, RealAmanda burning the picture, and the Charlotte reveal even though I assumed it was true. Maybe Victoria lied about Charlotte to David and Charlotte is Conrad's (since many already suspected the reveal, a twist?). I assumed the lawyer was working for RealAmanda with the talk about the financial records (which are needed for the master plan) a few episodes ago. I also suspected RealAmanda burned down her first foster home (even before we saw her burn the writer's home).
Nolan and Emily working together is the dynamic that I enjoy the most.
Called me a prude but your girl kissing another girl in front of you is not a very nice move. Maybe is because I like Jack so much and I don't trust Amanda at all.
The takedown was great and pretty well deserved.
I sincerely didn't think that Charlotte was going to be Emily's sister because that would make her Victoria's favorite, and not Daniel. After all she is her daughter and the man's she truly loved. Or maybe she's a reminder of what she did to David and that's why she has such a hard time with her.
I want to see what Emily does with this information.
Great episode! Probably my favorite one yet! Loved Nolan and Emily's camaraderie in this episode! I really hope it continues. ^_^

I think Conrad knows the truth about Charlotte. I think he is letting her live with him as a way to drive the stake alittle deeper into Victoria"s Black Ice heart.

Conrad must know Charlotte is not his biological daughter, but I think he doesn't care. And she is one more weapon against Victoria. Also having Emily marry Daniel is Victoria's worst nightmare, she knows something isn't right but exactly what is another story....What fun..

Great review! And I am officially in love with Nolan. The scene in which he watched Emily walk away with Ashley when she came bounding over with news of the marriage clause killed me. He was in the background but I kept watching him because his expressions slay me. All he needed was to be twirling a handlebar mustache and his dastardly look would've been complete. And WildChild Amanda rocks! Watching her become more and more unhinged every week is a thrill. Damn I love this show!!!
Wow, this show is so much fun to watch. Easily my favorite of the fall season.

Declan was such a dick to Charlotte. Honestly, she gets accepted to a school of which she loves and you're gonna make her feel bad about going? Grow up. Honestly, you wanted to move in with her 2 episodes ago. How did you not think her moving out to go to school would complicate that and make it much more difficult for you both? Idiot.
The half-sibling plot was something I saw coming once I put Charlotte's age and the time of the affair together. I see a lot of friction between the family, but I don't see how (faux) Emily can get to know her sister. She'd reveal the truth and by doing so would only make Charlotte hate her for taking (her presumed father) away from her, only going back to her mother. I expected Nolan and (faux) Emily to be related, but I believe having 2 of these plots is ridiculous.

I was as giddy as Nolan, watching that house burn down.
But I wonder if Emily really played her cards right. At Amanda's interview, she showed Mason how angry Amanda is at him, and she left Amanda's lighter in the house. She clearly wants to set up Amanda for this fire, a good way to get rid of her. But won't Amanda connect the dots? Is it really smart to take such a huge risk with someone who knows too much?
If I were Amanda, and I heard someone burned someone's house with my lighter, a day after someone told me to get "in his face"... I would be quite upset with Emily.
I was pretty sure Charlotte was Emily's half sister, so not a big surprise, but I can't wait to see what that will mean to Emily and how it will fit in her plans for revenge. I really can't wait for next wensday!!

has anyone noticed that Emily first foster home has burned down too....
For starters, Emily/R!Amanda is BADASS. Burning down the houses and walking like a badass. Now I am pretty sure the lawyer works for her. ITs far too coincidental.
So Charlotte is Emily's half-sister. Interesting. I wonder what will Emily do now, knowing the truth.

I was nearly 100% sure that Charlotte was Emily's half sister, so I wasn't that surprised.
When Emily burned down that house.. I was literally jumping for joy.
