NCIS Finale Teaser: Ducky to Play Key Role?

at . Comments

With NCIS officially renewed for next fall, talk has turned to how the current season will end. Long story short: Get ready for an episode featuringa major cliffhanger and binding together the lives of multiple characters.

Would you expect anything else from NCIS?

We know that Ziva's relationship with her mentor and friend will be explored this spring and factor heavily into the finale, which is being painted as a character-centric puzzle in which various pieces come together.

How will the other characters fit in?

Gibbs and Duck

With Palmer's wedding on the horizon, it looks as though Ducky may end up in a compromising situation, as well, based on recent comments from executive producer and show-runner Gary Glasberg.

Glasberg is quoted in EW as saying:

“Ducky’s going to have his hands full. We’ve got a situation where there will be injured and bodies and he’ll have a lot on his plate. That combined with Palmer’s wedding ... there’s a lot going on."

"Ducky is an integral part of this team and we’ve figured out a fun story for him. I’m excited to see how David McCallum embraces it and how the whole team participates in it. I view suspense and edge-of-your-seat as fun.”

Please, please don't kill Ducky off or any of the other major characters. Don't ruin the show like you did the original CSI that I no longer watch. Please don't.

I really hope they do not kill off Ducky, the NCIS Team is Great and would not want to see it changed. The core players are what makes it work, just like Charlie Sheen in Two and a Half Men.

Please don't kill Dr Mallard.....this cast works so well.....if you have to kill Jamie, if
two, than add Vance

If you kill off Ducky I will cry my eyes out! For God's sake anyone but Ducky or Gibbs. Kill Vance, I don't care for him. I'd even let you kill Tony or Mcgee. And if you kill of Ducky, Palmer will take his job! And come on...Palmer? Really? Ew.

You realy need to keep Ducky if you want the show to stay number 1.

I agree,Ducky is central to the series (which I wait for every week). But please get rid of Jamie - her character is doomed.

We will have to quit watching if Ducky is off. Palmer can't replace him. It looked like they are going to kill Palmer's girlfriend/wife. Hope not. You can kill off Director Vance, however, as he adds nothing but cynicism. Could bring back Kate by some magic. Can't stand to watch NCIS LA because it has very little to do with the Navy. The two main characters don't own regular shirts, just underwear, and it's tiresome. One of them might want to shave some day, and the one guy could do with a visit to Great Clips. By the way, please have them put some sort of liquid in the coffee cups. That hollow sound when they set the cups down is annoying - and they always tip the cup up too far when they sip. I'm just sayin'...

Drop Jamie--------leave the duck!

Please don't kill any of the team off. They all make the show. I enjoy watching the team at work. Jethro,Tony,McGee,Abby,Vance,Ziva ,Duckie and Palmer make the show. For once there's a show that has all there main character on it. Its good and I love it very much.

OH NO ... don't kill off Ducky, i love his English accent, he's such a lovable guy, without Ducky, the show won't be the same.

NCIS Quotes

Tony: One other question, I know you're an expert in English history. And I was just wondering, have you ever heard of Archibald Drummond, the 17th Earl of Trent?
Ducky: The Earl of Trent. No, I can't say I have. Why?
Tony: I was just wondering. Thanks.

McGee: All right. Well you should probably know that Abby and I used to date?
Bishop: Ew. Like, each other?
McGee: Yeah.
Bishop: Wait - isn't that a violation of rule 12, never date a....
McGee: It was a long time ago. After we'd broken up, one night I went to her lab. Found a scribbled piece paper; a list. Potential boyfriends had to fulfill certain conditions by a pre-arranged date or else, goodbye.
Bishop: Such as.
McGee: Things started off relatively normal: opening the door for her, flowers, putting the seat down. Then around number 8, it gets uh...
Bishop: What?
McGee: Does she know you have these?
Bishop: Does she know you have these?
McGee: Yeah she wasn't happy when she found out.
Bishop: These are all very specific.
McGee: Yeah.
Bishop: These ideas apply to you?
McGee: No those rules weren't in place when we were together. At least I don't think so.
Bishop: What's with the two month cutoff? Abby's sabotaging herself. I've seen stuff like this before. We have to talk to her.
