Glee Does Disco: Behind the Scenes

at . Comments

Glee returned this week with a focus on brothers and wheelchairs.

Next Tuesday, meanwhile, the Fox comedy takes us back to 1977, paying homage to the 1977 John Travolta film Saturday Night Fever via an episode that can only be titled "Saturday Night Glee-ver."

Go behind the scenes with the Glee cast in the following video, as get a glimpse of Amber Riley singing “Disco Inferno” and as we also listen to Jenna Ushkowitz attempting to understand that era’s unusual dance crazes.

Are we REALLY supposed to believe that not a single cheesy, saccharine character on this show (bar Sue & Schue) love disco?!!
So unbelievable, they're all either dance or cheesy music obsessed. And judging by the promos/previews they will ALL love it by the end of the hour too. *smh*
By all means have a disco episode (and I love the SNF soundtrack, one of my all-time faves) but for goodness sake get better at writing plots!
Rachel, Kurt, Brittany, Mike and possibly Mercedes would all totally love disco music, would be uncharacteristic for them not to (considering what we've previously seen of their musical tastes). I can only imagine Puck, Finn, Sam and Santana (and perhaps Tina) trying to make out they're too cool for it.

Dear Glee, from me personally, I big thank you for doing a disco themed episode! I love the 70's and disco music, I am truly experiencing Saturday Night Gleever fever! Thank you!

Santana: Blaine's handsome brother said it best: college is a waste of time. I just wanna be famous, plain and simple.

Let's be honest, William. You've been out of ideas since Madonna week.
