Grey's Anatomy Episode Preview: "Support System"

by at . Comments

Last night on Grey's Anatomy, a lion ended up on the loose in Seattle, yet did not make for the most interesting parts of an episode in which so much else transpired. The characters and storylines repeatedly took unexpected twists - not a small achievement for a show now almost finished with its eighth season.

For much more coverage, just read our Grey's Anatomy review for a full breakdown.

Looking ahead to next week, Cristina makes Owen tell her about the intimate details of his affair, which is destined to go badly, while Mark takes his authority very seriously when he steps in as chief for the day.

Elsewhere, Arizona, Callie and Bailey plan special night for Teddy. She could use it.

I agree! Give Sandra Oh all of those awards!

Mark Sloan, Chief of Surgery... That makes me vomit a little bit in my mouth.

@Kayla I agree. I think Sandra is clearly doing Emmy worthy work this season and I don't say that lightly. I'm not one of these 'give her an Emmy' types when she bawls on que. This time she really deserves it.

@Kyrhyn Well why watch Grey's Anatomy when the GREY in the Grey's Anatomy bores you? I was feeling bad about Crowen.. but as long as i get to see Sandra Oh's Strong performances episode after episode, I'm good with it, and this storyline is providing enclosures for it... Girl deserves Emmy, Golden Globe and People's choice award and more!

looks to be another crowen heavy episode-yuck. one of the things i really enjoyed about this week's episode is that pretty much everyone got to play for once and have a real scene. crowen is depressing and merder has bored me from season 1 on. i like seeing the other characters interact with them, however. i want to see more than just a depressing marriage when i tune in...that's the type of stuff we're supposed to be escaping from when we watch tv
