Killing Lexi off ruined the show. She was one of the few cast members everyone loved. Unless she comes back, I'm done with the show

I watched the season finale with a tissue in hand. I couldn't believe that Lexie was killed off. I had hoped to see her and Mark back together again. However, I am happy to learn that Derek and Meredith survived. If they had been killed that would have ended my watching the show.

I don't know if I will continue watching the show.LEXI REALLY???Why build up to her and Mark seeming like they will reunite and just kill her off so suddenly that is a terrible thing to do to Mark/Lexi fans like myself...I am so disappointed.Why not Arizona she is annoying?

BRING. BACK. LEXI!!! This is has got to be a dream. Why not just kill off the pilot of the plane? No one knows him or is attached to him. But Lexi? No. Not before she and Mark got back together, geez. Like the others have said, let it be a dream. Please.

By now, I guess I've gotten used to tragic season finales on GA; but I do think they've gone a step too far! They kill all enjoyable characters (Danny, George, Henry, etc...), but Lexie was a real breath of fresh air within all the drama. Like many other posters on this forum, I feel that the death of Lexie was too big of a blow, too sudden and too critical for the show's story line. I've often wondered after a GA season finale if I would continue watching, and this time I have got my definite answer: either bring back Lexie or that's yet another viewer lost!

The most shocking thing about this episode is that anyone survived the crash. I guess the writers aren't familiar with the physics of a plane traveling at 500mph plummeting to the ground (and mountainous, forested ground at that). With a crash like that you're lucky to retrieve pieces of people, let alone whole bodies. And here are all the surgeons walking around with minor cuts, sometimes gashes, and the occasional broken bone.

Why Lexie!!!!? she was the best i wanted mark and her to get back together!!! You guys made the show worse you could had kill someone else but not lexie! I won't watch the next season unless you make it a dream or something to revive her!!!!!!!!

Not Lexie.. I wanted Mark and Lexie to get back together.. Just like Scarlett/Rhett from Gone with the Wind. Always loving each other even with other partners

i'm actually quite content with Lexi dying. It's rather very sad, but I couldn't imagine one of the originals being killed off.

I am a die hard Grey's Anatomy fan. I hope they come next season. I did hate that Lexy died. I think we be surprised next season. She might have wanted to move on. Her contract probably ended. Shocking and graphic episode!!!!!!

So disappointed they killed off one of the more entertaining characters. Lexi, Callie and the amazing Bailey make each and every story line better. Lexi is amazing. Perhaps they'll do a Dallas and make it all a bad dream! Hokie, but if it means Lexi will come back, I'll take it.

Uh uh, no way. Unless they find a way to bring Lexi back, alive, I'm done with this show, and this network. It was bad enough that they took away George, but Lexi, not her. She was by far the favorite character. The show will not be the same. I love Arizona, but better her than Lexi. Everyone else in Meredith's family has died. Bring Lexi back, alive somehow! I don't care how!

Lexie is dead?! Are you kidding me! Most dramatic episode ever. Reasons for all the originals to stay but Lexie dying is just appalling. Will have to reconsider watching next season if they can't find a way to fix this. Have always loved the show but unless Chyler has gone off the way of Heigl there is no good reason for her character to die.

Worst episode ever. Can't believe Lexi is dead. I wanted her and Mark to get together. Please let all of this be a dream or hallucination. I didn't think it could be real because they killed her off so early in the episode. I think April would have been obvious, but I don't think she is an important character.

derek isnt going to die cuase i was reading something a few days ago and it said that all the originals have renewd the contracts for another 2 years and this was 2 or 3 days ago and i think its going to be lexie cause she is suspose to be on another show.
It's Derek. Patrick Dempsey has wanted to leave for a while but now he's at the end of his contract and no longer obligated to stay. This is how he'll be written out of the show.

if it has to be someone from the crush,i think that would be mark... lexie and arizona are very obvious! and don't forget that arizona's parents have lost a child already... i don't think that is very natural for a family to lose 2/2 children... that makes me think that Arizona is safe!

People stop saying Capshaw is leaving cause she's pregnant. She has already said she would not leave. She loves Greys and says she is looking forward to Season 9. Besides shonda knows where her bread is buttered. Chyler now has asked for less screen time, pulled out of the singing event and didn't go to the cast party. But it probably won't be either of them- too obvious.

It's Derek. Patrick Dempsey has wanted to leave for a while but now he's at the end of his contract and no longer obligated to stay. This is how he'll be written out of the show.
