It's not Bailey, Mark, Avery, Mer, Cris, Alex who die. I read that on the Grey's Gabbel website (I think it's from Auseillo)
I know Izzie (KH) wasn't needed for the SL's, but shouldn't she have been at the hotel in San Francisco too so she could take her boards?

Since Julia has barely apeared on the show Im pretty sure Mark will end up with Lexie, probably not too fast, but they will... otherwise they would have shown much more of julia's character... they would have made her grow on us, but they didn't.
And I really like April and Jackson's chemestry!!! I wish they keep bringing them together...

Hi Everyone, all im gonna say is GO LEXIE! She needs to be with Mark, they Belong together. All I want is them to get back together. Let me tell you, Im bit scared that, at the end, Mark will choose Julia. Lately, Shonda has worked for making Mark-Lexie Shippers to feel that there is no hope!

I don't think Chief Webber is going anywhere. His and Catherine Avery's storyline will continue in Season 9. Same with the storyline for Jackson/April. I think Meredith, Arizona, and Owen will stick around. Not sure about Cristina, Alex, Derek, Bailey, Lexie, Mark and Callie. The first four are up in the air because their contracts will end. The last three may want off the show before their contracts end and will probably be one of the characters to die.

First let me say I am a huge Grey's Anatomy fan, and despite a few hiccups in a some seasons, season 8 has been very solid. The storylines were more focused, and the characters have all grown well. I don't want my main charactes to leave, this show is about Mer, Alex, and Christina, they are the heart of the show, even tho there are more central characters. I always hated Izzy leaving, even though I understand it was for professional reasons, I do still miss her. I hope that if anyone leaves it is one of the newer characters. I do like Jackson I do, but if he were to go, I'd be okay with that. I watched season 5 recently, and saw all over again the love between her and Owen. I believe they can make it.

Here we go again...... same old idiotic cliches regarding 'good' girls and sex --- good girls are nerdy, hung up and borderline nuts, they want sex but should NEVER have it, or even worse, actually enjoy it when they do! When they 'fail' in their vigin pledge, as we know all TV virgins will, TV chiche writing decrees that one or more of these consequences will immediately occur: 1) after 10 seconds of post-coital bliss (the 10 seconds applies to each one of these, btw) our girl meets her grisy doom as the next victim of the unseen slasher in the frat house; 2) suffers an immediate loss of everything and everyone important to her in her life; or 3) fails her Boards while all her scheming, lying, morally bankrupt, self obsessed, egomaniac collegues pass them!! Please.......

I think mark ought to get back together with Lexie. I was not at all surprised that Kepner was the failing resident since she was not part of the original Grey's Anatomy cast.

of course every examination is held in a hotel!especially orals are leld in the rooms and written examinations in hotel conference rooms!i personally know it from hundreds of times that i have sat in front of an examiner like William Dandiels!!!;)
Part 2 - by suggesting he pick a decade & go from there. I wish the writers would have written for Cristina to say something like, I wonder how Dr. Mark Craig from St. Eligius Hospital would have done this procedure, what do you think?” That would have been THE highlight statement/question of the entire season. But I get the reference towards M.A.S.H. & he was on St. Elsewhere.
I wish Shonda could get William Daniels to be a guest star in a few episodes next year. He could teach them ALL a thing or two or three .... And bring on Owen & Cristina next week ... woo-hoo!!
The BEST part of last night's show for me was seeing William Daniels again & this time playing opposite Sandra Oh. This was an "old school vs. new" showdown with the background music being terrific & they were absolutely flawless – they stared each other down.
I watched St. Elsewhere back in the day & when William Daniels portrayed Dr. Mark Craig, he was just as arrogant, if not more so, in his role as a heart surgeon, as Cristina Yang is! I find it interesting that they are doctors who work on hearts & in each of these two one has to literally use a stethoscope to hear if one is beating in each of them.
When he told Cristina she was awfully sure of herself & questioned her hostility she became quite defensive. When she admitted that she was not okay with the open procedure & lost her normal cool manner & referred to the era of "Hawkeye & BJ doing it on M.A.S.H." did I laugh & I saw him smile just a bit. She challenged him right back b

Sorry for multiple posts. I went on to ask if it's been confirmed that the person who dies is a current regular character or an original character? I've always thought that Izzy's departure was fractured, but this is perfectly set up to have her return, not as a doctor, but as their friend, who's reached the end of her battle and has returned to her SGMW family for end of life care. Her death would make them all realize they belong together, therefore - nobody leaves. Far fetched? Probably, but a girl could dream.
Other ramblings:
Love Richard and Catherine, and I'm thrilled that steamy, sex scenes aren't delegated only to beautiful, perfectly toned 20-somethings.
Patrick Dempsey is aging so, so well.
Team Slexie. Enough said.

Random thoughts from a forever GA watcher: It feels to me that Shonda & Co have been heavy-handed in devoting so much screen time to April in an effort to get the viewers invested in her character, so that when she does die, it packs an emotional punch. The problem is that April is not much of a sympathetic, nor terribly likeable character, so her death - while maybe tragic and sad, won't have the heartbreaking reaction that George's did. My gut tells me that it's either her demise or possibly Adele. Adele's death would be sad, not so much because her life ended (becasue death is less cruel than Alzheimer's), but because she and Richard were robbed of growing old together in natural fashion. Since we know that Cristina, Mere, Alex and Jackson are safe from certain death, another option could be Richard, but how cruel to take away Meredith's only parental figure in her life? At some point, the powers that be have to decide our girl has had enough. Have we substantiated that it

1. Great show this week really enjoyed it. 1.Please more of AZ friend he is so cute. 3. Bailey's none wooing was hysterical and the guy sniffing the bread in the cafeteria was hilarious! We need to keep our residents! 4. I hope April failed, what a mess she was , sweating, talking about Jesus and sex, sorry but I doubt she passed. 5 Yes, Little Grey is annoying , however, I like her better then Julia. Who asks a guy for a baby after dating him for 6 months and he already has an infant to help raise. I am rooting for Little Grey. 6. Bathroom scene was not hot to me, doing it in a nasty toilet stall, ugh.
I guess it is only me, however, I do not feel any chemistry between Webber and Debbie Allen, the love scene was so over the top ( at least her part of it). Webber has more chemistry with Mer then with the Debbie Allan character. And his pain over losing Adele to her new "love" was heartbreaking.

I love Christina but I almost wanted her to fail after she was being so arrogant. She's never going to stop - she's been tolerated by everyone. And eventually someone will die because she thinks she knows everything.
April failing was no surpise.

April did fail her boards, Catherine said that one doctor from Seattle didn't pass, and as we know that Alex, Jackson, Mer and Cristina passed, it can be only April who did not. Maybe something else will happen to make her be back in the game, no idea, but still, she has failed.

I hope all 5 passed. April's not my favorite so I would like to bid goodbye to her. Messing with Jackson b4 the Boards telling him she went against Jesus
the poor boy was already dealing with his Mother! April drives me nuts. I don't think Meredith and Derek will leave. Meredith does not want to go to Boston. I am so happy to see how far her character has grown. It seems such a sure thing that Christina is leaving so I expect that to be a cliffhanger and something happens that she stays. I worry that someone will be up at Shepherd's trailer/house when the forest fire starts if that is the ending. I so hope Mark chooses Lexie b4 she hooks up with someone out of pain. 6 months is too soon for Julia to want to have a baby with Mark. I know both Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey both have said in numerous interviews that they would like to return. Patrick wants a little smaller roll due to his racing but that co

Everyone's saying April failed but if you watched scenes for next week's episode you can see her clearly celebrating and most def doesn't look like someone that's just failed the biggest exam of their life/career. April is so dramatic...the tears in the eyes, checking her phone at the end of this episode...I'm predicting she passed with flying colors and Catherine perhaps heard Karev's failing of the 1st session and that's what she interpreted as someone failing..let's face it...Catherine has other things on her mind! vavava voom! We'll see how it all plays out.

I am OH SO NOT surprised ! April was never good in an OR, made many mistakes, and after that, wasn't shown much in ORs. And REALLY, Boards ain't therapy ! Though I do agree that sex is the medicine !
Also it is nice to see that Owen and Bailey get along, coz when he got promoted to chief, well, it wasn't too good. But c'mon, the bread sniffers ! Naaaasssty !
Baby Sloan p.2 loool. Not a good idea ! And poor Lexie freaking out like that ! And that julia, grrrrrr ! Mark got shot in the heart and before and he can realize it she's crushing his teeth ! Hope Slexie will get back to it !
Poor Mer, she wants to puke and all they talk about is "rectum" lmaooo, nah SHE was the soldier in there. And puking while passing the boards, awesome ! And Karev IS the lucky one, pass the boards in those conditions, yeah right !
