I love all the characters, tony, ziva, palmer, abby, gibbs, ducky, mcgee and vance they are all different but bring the team together and work together. Now Ryan, she added nothing but making NCIS look like a soap opera with her over physical ways, i glad i didn;t have kids they would never watched it, she needs to stay gone, NCIS is a naval crime show

Hey people! Are you forgetting that McGee took the main part of the blast? He could have internal injuries and also what was so important in the material he was down loading? But as always he will get pushed back into a 30 second part in the premiere and Ziva and Tony(forced chemistry)or Abby and Gibbs will get big boring billing. Don't even know why they showed it, it won't even get more than a band aid. Getting tired of watching my fav not getting any screen time.

one of the writers said that it was not an accident that Tony and Ziva found them self's in the elevator together, my thinking is that Tony is badly injured in the explosion and he dies in her arms after admitting finally that he loves her.

As always, show was great. Final scene of Ducky DID take my breath away. Relieved that he is coming back next season. One note: always waiting to see episode (maybe final season) bringing back Jeanne Benoit character (Tony's gone wrong undercover love)to finally give Tony a chance to really tell her that he loved her then and loves her now. They should end up together, although it is clear that writers haven't stopped showing connections between Ziva and Tony.

It would be really crazy to kill off the main characters like ducky and gibbs especially but it wouldn't be the same without mcgee zeva and tony and abby either I know there has been other characters in the past but the ones there now just seem to belong together and wouldn't be the same without either of them

I really enjoy NCIS but except actors have there own lives to lead and a good thing thing to.There is nothing we can do if one of them wants to go or at least take a few months off.Is David McCallum nearly eighty?

Like its been mentioned, Ducky shouldn't, and isn't going anywhere as David McCallum did renew a contract for two addiotnal years with CBS. The thoughts of it being a possible red herring are interesting, but in the end I don't think accurate. NCIS has this rare trait going for it that the fans actually like the cast as a whole and care about what happens to them. The writers ultimatly try to please the fans and the show as a whole wouldn't try a coverup of killing off a main character simply becuase of the backlash it would cause and way it would turn people's postive opinions. When a show ranks this highly, there are certain things that just won't be messed with from a production side and the death of someone like Ducky is one of them. I think all the main characters will be fine, though may require time to recover, and by main characters I mean Ducky, Gibbs, Abby, Ziva, Tony, and probably Palmer. I found it very interesting that the one person we didn't see anything about in the end

Many people seem to think that Mark Harmon and Cote De Pablo signed this year and as others have pointed out it was 2011 that Mark Harmon signed and not this year...you might need to clarify that...
