Jake Lacy Joins Cast of The Office Season 9
Jake Lacy has been hired by Dundler Mifflin.
The former Better With You actor has been cast as a series regular on The Office Season 9, joining Clark Duke as a new star on the semi-rebooted NBC sitcom.
With Paul Lieberstein exiting as showrunner, B.J. Novak demoted to recurring status and Mindy Kaling only stopping by for two episodes, The Office will look very different this fall.
Rainn Wilson may also be spun-off and sent over to Schrute Farms.
No details have been made available yet regarding Lacy's character, but it's safe to assume he'll simply be working at the beloved paper company.
The Office premieres Season 9 on September 20.
