I blame Elena for Elijah's softness this season. In Bringing Out the Dead he was his good old self, scheming, switching loyalties, getting a haircut, flirting with Damon and catching up on MF's latest gossip in just a few hours. Then, in Dangerous Liaisons, he met Elena, and everything about his character went to hell from there. And that's a tragedy, because I actually used to like Elejah. In season 2. They trusted each other, and the relationship was (with the exception of him wanting her to get sacrificed by his brother on a creepy alter and her having killed him once) mutual. Then, in season 3, their friendship turned into crap. You tried to kill my entire family and lied to my face? I'm so sorry, I have to write you a tender letter and flee town out of guilt because I saved my family. You tried to kill us all again and succeeded with my brother? I couldn't bear to kill you, so I'm going to spend decades running, just for you.

Yeah I know Elijah didnt shine in this season as he did in season 2,but neither did Klaus.In fact he hasnt at all .........
Give me some examples of scenes where you were like "Fuck yeah !! Klaus is the shit !!" . . I myself dont know of any.
Elijah didn't do much badassery in season 3. Of course he was impressive in season 2, but my point is that he's really just a softie now. The most "epic" he did was rip a hybrids heart out and kidnap Elena (which he eventually felt sorry for, writing a cheesy apology to the girl who HELPED someone try to kill his family). Then he came back to negotiate Klaus' body, that was reasonable (it's his brother). But really, Klaus will always have that criticism of going soft since he's supposed to be the villain, but Elijah was really no different and I was barely impressed.

In terms of being a pure Badass VAMPIRE Elijah kills klaus.I posted somewhere that we have yet to see any true moments/scenes were you sit back and go "Wow,holy shit" with anything related to Klaus.In this viewers eyes, the scene from season 2 involving Elijah (with moonstone) coming to Damons aid and annihilating werewolf jules wolfpack in mere seconds has yet to be topped.The man is awesome and is the shows best Vampire handa down.

Im fed to the teeth with the Lameness that Klaus has become.Season 2 did a great job of creating an aura of mystery around the (still up for debate) first and oldest living Vampire.But somewhere during this season (S3) he's just crashed and burned as someone to fear.I to now want the show to bring on an actual villian that instills fear in the hearts of all that is good in Mystic falls.Not some second rate villian who spends far to much time monologing about what they intend to do,but rather just DO . . . . Kinda like The Joker in The Dark Knight.In the movie he says he never has a plan,he just does what he does.An absolute psychotic Vampire in that vein is something I would personally love to see

llk_vomit, I have to disagree with Elijah. He's still the best Original, but his badassery got numbed down when he turned TeamElena. Come on, the girl helped his mother to kill him, and when the gang found white stakes for Klaus, she STILL didn't care about them being linked. He even apologized to her via letter. "sorry for letting my sister try to kill you because you tried to kill me first" yeah I'll always love Elijah but FUCK that, he's not drawing and crying now and then but he's actually softer than Klaus.

I used to like elijah but it looks like daniel gillies has been doing drugs - he's lost is edgy sparkle, now he's just edgy.

I'm TIRED of the The Elena Show and The Klaus Diaries, right now her, Klaus, and the Fagatore brothers need to go away! The show should focus on Elijah, Kol, Rebekah, and Caroline.

I can live with Klaus, as long as he keeps his drawings and tears off my screen, but Elena and Damon should get exiled to Denver already. I want Elijah upgraded to Regular and Plec can go write more fanfics. Then we're talking.

out of all the spoilers im so glad that klaus will be back in his body i think he is a great actor and i really like is character i dont think that tyler would have been able to pull off acting like klaus we need joseph morgan to be klaus and with everything that happen last season with elena and damon you knew they could just leave it like they did ofcourse they have to have a moment i dont really think they are going to rewrite history again and make originals before the originals im sure it was a misunderstanding out of all the relationships i really hope and cant wait for caroline and klaus

wow before the originals????? I mean Klaus is not the original original...there are pre originals??? That is going to be the best part of all this to come...stronger and more evil than Klaus??? hard to believe...and what about the original father of Klaus ......please tell me that that will also be in the future of Vampire Diares...It's only fair seeing that were were introduced to other mothers and fathers ....we need to know a bit about the affair that Esther had with a warewolve yes????

Delenaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!! That's what I look forward to, and of course more vamps. On a side line, I think Rebecca and Damon also have a lot of common grounds and great chemistry...
Stefan... I do not care about him. But also looking forward to how things are going to wrap around Klaus's return and Tyler and Caroline's forbidden love!
Damon: She's strong and crafty and you'll die. Elena: At least I'll die trying.
