One of my fav shows but the mention of Michelle obamas name ruined a long time veiwer of being able to watch what I thought was a great show.the whole show now seems to be about the same thing we are fighting to change in this country. It seems to be the pattern in l.a with all the stars and shows they r afraid to speak out about the truth and what is really wrong in this country.......!!!!!!!

ducky is the soul of the show, abby it's heart, toothpick well he wouldn't be missed nor would dr bonivia. gibbs had more chemistry with almost every woman he has played opposite than with dr ryan.

OMG I am so happy to see Ducky lives!!! Thank you for the spoilers :) Losing Ducky would be like losing Abby or Gibbs to me and it wouldn't be worth watching ;(

This has some of the most powerful and hard hitting stories and the characters are all different so people can relate to a number of them and it is this type of writing is what will keep people wanting to watch and become involved in the story lines. I like Gibbs he is his own boss but cares about his staff and if you mess with them then you have to answer to him.

CBS better keep them all. It's the best show that they have ever had. Without any of them would be a big mistake. TV would be very borrowing on.CBS and I love NCIS.

Well to start with I dearly hope they do not change any of the characters. They have been great and without Ducky and Gibbs there wouldn't be a purpose for the show considering they were ther starters of the whole show from season 1. Please Don't allow Ducky to die this season. This show and Bones is my two favorite shows on and to see everything change would be terrible.

Well the Season finales always center around Gibbs or Ziva anyway, so it won't too much matter if they haven't re-signed by May. The story will likely feature some kind of Gibbs and Ziva's fate in peril theme or have one or both grappling with some major personal dilemma. They always create Gibbs or Ziva centered finales whether their contracts are up or not anyway. Since CdP recently said in an interview that she wanted to stay til the series ends, she'll probably just have her publicists play hardball for as long as they can so sweeten her package. MH seems less certain to me. I feel that either Gibbs role will change within the agency (a move up to Vance's spot?) or the show will end if he has decided that this is his last season.

I think Ziva's contract is due for renewal this year same has Gibbs, wonder if it takes as long as it did for the other three before they sign, I can't help but feel there is going to be some big changes coming in this season.

@Michael, NCIS is still the #1 show, it is a ratings powerhouse, there is not another show with ratiings even close to NCIS. It has been, is now and will continue to be (for some time) the most watched show on tv.

@Michael, I have searched TV Line & can't find anywhere where Tiva fans voted Season 8 the worst because it focused on Gibbs & Vance. Please link your source as I think you are making up facts AGAIN.

NCIS is the best series on TV and has been every since it's debut 10 years ago. I love all the characters and want them to remain as they are. Their chemistry is fantastic.. I pray the series goes on another 10 years. Good job everyone involved.

NCIS need to do something that for sure has anyone seen the TVguide website NCIS is number 5 now it use to be number 1 on the most watch show list... I do feel like the writing for Tony has gotten way out of hands one day he seen as a smart and good agent that Gibbs is gromming to take over the team then next day its like he a new agent.
It just seem like Coté de Pablo fanbase has taken over the show just look at season 8 it was NCIS most well written season since season 5 and it was voted the most hated by Tiva according to TVline
everyone was complaing about how season 8 was about Vance,Tony and Gibbs way to much but yet these SAME fan were okay with season 5 6 and 7 being about Ziva and Gibbs.

well viewers seem to like the way tony and ziva are written as its one of the top shows so the writers seem to be doing smthing right.

I'm not sure we'll ever get more than the occasional moment where we see brave or competent Tony. The writers seem mostly stuck in writing him as the butt of the joke. They also seem stuck making Ziva a super woman smug victim and Gibbs always right and admiring Ziva, while constantly insulting and correcting Tony. I think its all they are allowed to write.
