Deirdre Lovejoy to File Suit on Private Practice

Deirdre Lovejoy is about to cause some serious problems for Addison on Private Practice.

The veteran actress (The Wire, Body of Proof, Bones) has been cast on a November episode of the ABC drama, TV Line reports. She will portray a patient who sues Kate Walsh's doctor for the wrongful birth of her daughter. Yes... birth.

Consider us intrigued.

Wow. Shonda is really make good use of her storylines this season. Honestly, this doesn't really sound like a storyline they'd been pushing for to have the past 6 years. Though it hasn't exactly been done, it's not something that's exactly wild and unusual for PP either.

On another note, I honestly do not look forward to Matt Long joining the cast on a recurring basis. ESPECIALLY if the show were to possible continue without Kate Walsh and he'd probably be promoted to a permanent recurring cast member.

The word was Tim Daley was "written off the show" due to budget cuts and he's barely out the door before they bring in another actor. So what's the REAL story behind him leaving? It certainly cannot be budget cuts if they hired another actor because he certainly isn't working for free to "gain experience" and as a HUGE fan of Tim Daley I HATE being lied to about why he was written off the show....so the REAL story PLEASE???!!!
