@hummelchen I am glad you liked the episode so much. I wish I could have said the same. I have often defended HIMYM when it has seemed to swing and miss and I always try to look for the positives in each episode. Just like Marshall's eyes were opened to his stamp tramp ways though, the comments from the good people like yourself who write in with their thoughts each week has made me realize that perhaps I have been wearing the rose colored lenses too much. I have loved this show since it's inception so maybe that is why I, like others, am now critical of its decline. The cast is widely popular now and involved in many outside projects. Like an athlete who spreads themselves thin with endorsement deal commitments, commercials and alternate careers (see Shaq's rap career) I think it is inevitable that their performance is going to suffer on some level. I can't understand this review and the low rating...I totally loved the episode and Barney was cute as hell drunk kissing Robin! I got my butterflies^^ I really felt like this episode and the one before were the best in this season so far!

I felt this was one of the better episodes for this season, which makes me really sad.

I still hold out for this show but, well, my viewership is entirely Dancing with the Stars related and whether I am recording something elsewhere. Heck Monday nights I could go right to bed after DWTS but I like the trick of watching both this and Revolution with no commercials and still be ready for bed by ten past 11. They still seem to be phoning it in..I noticed the laugh track for the first time ever and I had the thought of when was the last time Bob Saget did any voiceovers because they seem to be repeating.

my favourite parts of this show are always the group riffing- i loved the whole stamp of approval/ pigging backing stamp convo. that was funny. but it does seem like jason segal is phoning it in, which i find really annoying
