Justin Bruening to Recur on Grey's Anatomy
Justin Bruening (Switched at Birth, Ringer) is joining Grey's Anatomy in a recurring role.
Bruening, who also headlined NBC’s ill-fated Knight Rider reboot, will play a paramedic who crosses paths with several of Seattle Grace docs. His first episode of the ABC medical drama slated to air in early 2013.
TV Line was the first to report Bruening's casting this afternoon.

You blithering idiots... He is just a guest star, not like they are promoting him to main attraction. Jeez. Eric Dane was NOT let go because of budget issues. That was Tim Daly over on private practice. Tim is established in the tv industry and ABC couldn't afford him so they had to let him go. The guest actors and such don't get paid what the main people are paid.
Grey's still rakes in ALOT of cash for ABC so they can afford everyone plus get new people to GUEST star.

We barely saw Jackson in the last episode except for few milliseconds toward the end.. so why not add few more people so that we can all forget about the rest :)

Yes, let's add even more useless characters to the show to further illustrate what utter bullshit it was to say that Eric Dane was let go due to budget cuts.
I would trade every last intern, this guy, plus Jackson and April just for a single decent grieving moment for Lexie.

4 young female interns and April on Grey's and you think this guy is for Cristina? I'm speechless ..... Besides what would the Cardio God extraordinaire be doing with a paramedic whom looks 10 years younger than her?
