Castle Review: Exes Come and Go Comments (Page 3)

Liked the episode very much, but the last scene with Beckett once again staring off in wonder...I would dare to say she knows a heck of a lot more about Castle, or as much, as anyone in any kind of relationship.
Let's see...he has been there for her for years, saved her life, listen to her troubles, great with his family, stays true to Kate in spite of the many times she has pushed him away. What exactly does she need to know? This season has been great, but they never seem to let us just enjoy an episode without some hint of doom and gloom to come. But then, maybe that's just good writing.

Think Kate had an awakening that she doesn't know alot about Castle and his inner feelings. She looked like she felt sad about that and maybe even a bit self-centered because it is always about her. Hope this encourages her to starting delving into Castle and his innermost feelings.

Great episode! Did anyone not just LOVE the fact that Beckett called Castle's house her "home"!

I enjoyed the episode, but part of that was probably just because it's been a month since we had something new. Part of that was getting to see Mark Deklin (I really miss GCB!) - although they could have found a reason to have him take his shirt off - and the other great guest stars. It was a fun episode - the one liners, Castle being all nervous about Meredith and Beckett's dinner, the references to the Twinkie and Kate calling him "Kitten". Ryan and Espo giving Castle relationship advice is always funny. I loved that we got to see some of these people together in scenes that weren't just about the case. It was a classic Castle episode - twisty case with good personal stuff mixed in and quite humerous.

Yes, Meredith is over-the-top and I'm glad she's not a regular on the show, but I didn't mind the idea that she would want to check up on Rick's new gal. Also, to whomever mentioned about their divorce being because she had an affair - that doesn't make her a liar. If she was feeling

Actually, I didn't like this episode so much. As soon as Meredith showed up and pushed her way in, I felt it was unrealistic. Meredith is obvious, so why does everyone walk on shells when she is around. She's not a great person or mother for that matter. Walking around in her underwear? Come on who does that? Did she forget Becket has a gun :-). Anyway, she did not have good intentions as she would have us believe at the end. Just wanted to meet the woman that Castle was really serious about. Why? Anyway, the other story was good. Lainey and the boys are always great. Becket kind of passive for a hard boiled detective, she didn't stand up for herself and Castle didn't stand up for her either. Geez, I took all that kind of serious huh!!! It's just TV.

Pretty good episode. Loved the interaction between all the charactors, and the ending. At first, I didn't like Merideth pointing out Castles' fault..but realize, those walls that Richard Castle hides behind, really arent much different than those that Kate Beckett has. I truely hope that he has changed in 15 years and shares his feelings with Kate. I think he will, they each have spent 5 years already, and haven't driven each other away.

I like that there are some challenges to the relationship.......I also like that they do not wind up being devastating. Granted no es likes the other es around but let's face it Castle has been crazy for Beckett for too long and even the appearance of his ex is not enough and I like that Beckett is not foolish but I kind of like that she was as the Twinkee said "secure enough" even if it was more for the Twinkee's sake so to speak. I do not want them to separate and spend months apart in agony. I do not need that as a cliff hanger people.

The thing is what Kate knows about Richard is pretty much more of the common knowledge that one finds on the back of his book jackets.............he is great with Lexis and good with his Mom who raised him through thick & thin. But that is it......not anything in depth so for what it is worth Castle at this point does know more about what makes Kate tick and her motivation(her Mom. All in all another good episode and worth the tune in always

Great episode. I kept laughing it was so funny. Lannie was pretty funny last night and so were Esposito and Ryan but no shock there. I thought the Begining with the soon to be ex couple kept breaking things of the others and then Kate said the next one to break something was going to jail and in the next seen they were both being walked into the police station. After Meredith and Kate had dinner and came back and messed with castle was pretty funny.

    Good episode!
I totally didn't see the wife pushed off the boat coming back alive!
On the character development end, it was really nice to see Beckett NOT suddenly doubting everything just because Twinkie was there. (The Twinkie reference was a very nice callback to Meredith's first appearance.)
I agree that they're setting up a story arc that's more about Castle's past. I'm really hoping that they'll pick up on that line the CIA mole gave about Castle's father.

Finally a good episode! Was so happy with this episode. It had the usual twists and turns but it was very clever and interesting. Although I just couldn't figure out why the victim couldn't leave well enough alone. Curiosity killed the dumb cat.
I also like how they foreshadowed trouble for Caskett. I love couples together but it will be very interesting to see what happens with these two now. I think we will definitely get to the bottom of Kate and Castle's parent issues this season.
I just hope that Caskett isn't one of the couples in Ausseillo's blind item.

I enjoyed this episode a lot! And I think the end was probably an arc to start with the story of Castle´s father later, maybe Kate will start to make an effort to know more about Castle and underestand that he too has walls (not like Meredith, just giving up)...
And the weekly case was very good, with all those twists (I´m always interested in the cases, I don´t watch Castle just because of the relationship):)
Oh, and loved Ryan and Espo teasing:)

Actually, Beckett does not know more about Castle then Castle knows about Beckett. They hardly ever talk about him and when they do he makes a joke or flippant comment. He really doesn't talk about himself all that often even though he talks A LOT. He spends all of that time trying to coax her into talking about herself, not really talking about himself or his past. I think Meredith had a point and Beckett should pay attention. I don't really think Castle does it on purpose, but I think as a writer he spends so much time trying to get into other people's heads he doesn't really spend that much time in his own.

Did Lane really call Castle's ex a Twinkee? There is something in the words three is a crowd and definetly a no no. Nothing will ever be perfect. Will we really ever no all there is to know about each other even we we live together?
But when Becket said "your not the man I though you where" and then came around later with a nice kiss to give some closure to Castle's worries. And Ryan and Esposito giving there two cents was comical and got Castle going a bit. All in all a very good episode. Now if we can only bring back the Twinkee not the ex wife we will be in good shape!

Meredith is such a LIAR! In the 1st episode Meredith was in Rick and Meredith said why they got a divorce.....Meredith cheated on Castle with a director. Episode was...Always Buy Retail. And Castle has discussed his dad with Beckett. And just once I want to see Castle MAN UP and handle things. Beckett knows more about Castle than Castle knows about Beckett. Yes Beckett is slowly opening up to Castle...but only after she lies to him....Christmas Episode for example. Good Lord Kate....Stop and Think!!
