I'll be honest, Matt. I always love your reviews, but I think this is my new favourite one.

"Please, pretty, pretty please with sugar and Bonnie's magic salt on top - can we be done now?"

LOL. That's exactly what I thought too after watching Elena's confession to Stefan. I was like: Great! NOW can we be done with this shit?

Probably not, because the writers have decided to drag this out for as long as the sun will shine apparently...

And I totally agree with you on Jeremy's storyline - IT'S FREAKING AWESOME!

    Herewego
that's not true...so just stop. she was however going to do another love triangle with bonnie/damon/elena. we don't know her end game as she said the same thing to every ship about their ship being endgame. It is very well known fact L.J. like to incite shipper wars and like to say thing everyone.

  3. Herewego

Actually, had the "real story" seen the light if day, LJ Smith planned on elena and Damon being together. She got fired from her own book series because of it! Damon and Elena aren't boring...did u see his face when she told him she loved him!!!

  4. C

Elena is a bitch... I'm just too disappointed about what I saw tonight... Love isn't supposed to be like that. You just don't stop loving someone to be in love with his brother... Those kind of things shouldn't be done to anybody. It hurts... Elena's a real bitch... It was supposed to be Stefan and Elena... They can't change the real story just like that. I'm agree with Cindy here... The show was ruined the minute Damon and Elena slept together... Even more when she said she was in love with him... She's a selfish bitch... I guess it's going to happen the same thing that happened to gossip girl when they decided to throw a relationship between Blair and Dan... They show was ruined... Viewers were upset and stopped watching, and it was it...
I guess Elena is the new Blair... Bad move writers... It's ok to change some things from the original story... But you crossed the line this time. If you wanted to do the things your way, you should've called the show by other name. You can't cha

LOL. Wait! Did someone just say that TVD was more hardcore than Charmed and smallville??? You must be trolling. Clearly this person does not realize that these shows are LEGENDARY, heights that TVD can only dream of reaching. This is getting more and more amusing by the post. Carry on.

  6. TPHxItachi

@WHateva, TNT airs smallville and Charmed and Mentanlist reruns, so TVD is much hardcore then the above mentioned. And you need 88 episode's for syndication. And Arrow is a hit, thats why mark was so content, not because its the best, lol. TVD is still the best and the numbers prove it. There's no reason to boast for TVD, its on its fourth season, lol. And its still the highest rated CW show And SPN is doing great for the CW. And just ask last resort about how tough the Thursday 8pm line up is. Bye Bye see you next week.

  7. Madz

I am so happy for DE. OTT happy.. grinning like an idiot and just so happy... FTW Delena.

And yay... I am rooting for team Klamon.. I so love Damon and I like Klaus.. wanna see more of them... Becks rocks.. Move on Stef... Elena loves Damon n now everyone knows...yay...

  8. whateva

You can get syndication while your show is still on. You have to have a certain amount of episodes (I believe 100) to get syndication rights.

And who would air it. TNT is too hardcore to take TVD as it not Buffy or Angel. Maybe style will take it like gg.

Arrow is the best show hence why Mark was singing its praises and according to fans Supernatural is the best fantasy show on the network...oh wait they already got syndication.

  9. whateva

BBT and Two and Half Men are different demo, Men are their target audience, tvd is women, smart one (I pointed out the network was concerned when AI moved there as they do share the same demos same goes for X-Factor). it the death time slot?...Friday is considered a death time slot, which is why most viewers get upset when their shows get moved to fridays cause no one watches tv on fridays.

Thursday as whole used to be the toughest but due to the changest in networks line ups and demos, it not particularly the 8pm slot. 9pm is the harder slot because grey's is still on which is why I found out from someone at the CBS network (parent network for CW) they won't move to 9pm as the show would perform worst as most fans go to Grey's at 9 pm. Grey's is known show killer...go ask the OC.
If you also notice at the TCA Pedowitz seem to boast about other show's ratings like Arrow's and not TVD's. The only TVD stuff talk was the spin off.

LOL. Okay. I concede. We started talking about viewership numbers and then you jumped to demographic and are now telling me that only the demos matter? IF YOU SAY SO....

    @GossipBoy.
Don't start with me because i can provide various shows that have NOT declined from season to season in such numbers or have remained constant. So don't pretend that its inevitable that shows decline....because its not. And who the hell was talking about syndication anyway?

  12. TPHxItachi

    Im a Guy BTW

  13. TPHxItachi

what you fail to understand is that as the years go by Live Viewers are no longer viewing live, There's a crap load of ways to view your favorite shows online unlike back in the days with Smallville. CW is a combined Network of Falied UPN and Young Network. The CW is for young viewers, a network that caters to females 18-34, just look at there shows, lol.

And the CW recently made a Billion dollar deal with Netflix to stream there shows, Why??? Because there audience skews young and they watch there shows on there own time. They even made a muti million dollar deal with Hulu and Once TVD finishes there fourth season, they'll be up for syndication and TVD will make the CW even more MOney.

  14. TPHxItachi

@RedOktober, i accept your concession. Again Viewership it doesn't matter, its the Demo that matters. The Higher the Demo, the more people stood on the channel to watch TVD and its advertisements(Revenue). The lower the Demo, the more the audience flipped to other channel and didnt watch the channels commercials.

@Whateva, TVD has the toughest time slot on Television, TVD airs at 8pm eastern time facing off against Big Bang theory(highest rated show on Televison Period and faces Two and Half men at 8:30(pulling on average 4.0 demo, ridiculous popular) and also faces Fox's X-Factor at 8. So no the time slot is death, and Thursday overall is the toughest night for Television.

  15. GossipBoy

Every show has to decrease in viewership in each season. it's a known fact sweetie. And VD is CW's best show right now that will give them a very good syndication deal once it ends.

Crap. I hate the lack of editing posts for this website. That number for Smallville is 5.9 million not 9.5. Don't hold that slip up against me!

@ whateva. Thank you. I was just about to point out that the fact that the CW has SETTLED for mediocrity has no relevancy in this argument. The WB was the predecessor for the CW so the fact that it is a so called "young" network has nothing to do with anything. All that happened was a name change. SAME NETWORK! And where was this so called complacency when compared to the "older networks" you're talking about when the WB/CW still had shows like Smallville on the books that was pulling on average 9.5 million viewers. Face facts honey, its not because the CW is "young" as you put it. Its because TVD is just not good enough compared to what came before and what others have to offer.

  19. whateva

Actually the network does take into account of ratings when they decide on time slot changes.

TVD actually has the easiest time slot, they have no real competition (even though they consider moving the show after AI move to thursdays).

  20. whateva

    TPHxItachi

on the demo, however the network actually found they had a high demo of men for Arrow and I most likely going to change the demo to that. So in fact it performed better as it got the network new revenue.

  21. TPHxItachi

@RedOktober, here's some hard information you cunt, your an idiot and here's how your wrong on all the above mention, with bullet points for idiots like you can understand.

    1. The TV guide link you provided is popularity amongst fans opinion and not actual viewership ratings, in turn, that information is useless and doesn't reflects TVD so call "Lost of viewers" that you mentioned earlier you cunt.

    2. The arrow premier being the biggest premier since The Vampire Diaries, Arrow didn't even beat TVD's season 4 premier demo, being a 1.6 demo for the TVD's premier, and Arrow had a 1.3 demo for its pilot. And incase you didnt know you cocksucking thunder cunt, the Demo for a TV show is what matters not the total viewers!!!

3.The CW doesnt count as a major network, The CW is very content with the Numbers TVD pulls weekly, Why??? Because The CW has only been around for 5 years compared to 20 plus years of CBS,FOX,NBC and ABC. So the CW is not expecting monster numbers like Big bang t

It just hit me. Why am i even trying to explain the lack of viewership of TVD? Anyone with half a brain would know that when they say that TVD is the best performing show on the CW IT STILL DOESN'T MEAN SHIT because the CW is still light years behind other networks and TVD is still, even after 4 seasons, way behind shows from the other networks. ABC, CBS and the others are the real big boys of late night television and guess what....their shows don't have second rate writers who re-enact Bella Swan 2.0 neverendingly oscillating between Jacob and Edward reincarnated.

  23. RedOktober
    Rank: Regular Character

LOL. I cannot believe you said i had an agenda. REALLY? What would that be? Another thing that you are wrong about. Arrow has the BEST premier that the CW has seen for THREE YEARS! Again, let me provide you with some proof. http://www.buddytv.com/articles/arrow/arrow-scores-the-cws-highest-r-47928.aspx

Read them and weep bitch. I said, and i quote, "best performing CW show AT THE MOMENT". Not once did i say it had better ratings. This list was composed with the criteria of popularity, consistency and critical revue. Check the link for yourself:
