Justified Round Table: "Foot Chase"

at .

We are back with a new edition of the Justified Round Table!

Gather around now as staff members Dan Forcella, Carla Day, Nick McHatton and Jim Garner break down the latest developments from Tuesday's "Foot Chase."

-------------------------------------------

What was your favorite scene from the episode?
Dan: The emotional ending between Boyd and Ava. I would love to see these two get out of the game. Other parents being okay with their kids' hanging out with Crowder kids is a dream of mine as well.

Carla: Boyd's proposal to Ava. It's my favorite scene from the season so far. It was honest, heartfelt, and perfect. It's amazing how far they have come since Ava killed Boyd's brother. Yep, remember back then? I adore Boyd and Ava. His plan for their future was touching and enlightening. I'd love to see them transition to a respectable life.

Nick: I'm a terrible person for laughing at Raylan's "rape you with a smile" quip. Aside from that, I'm going to echo Boyd and Ava.

Jim: I loved Shelby and Raylan rescuing Josiah. A can of hairspray and a lighter works on spiders, but U.S. Marshals are less impressed. Apparently local sheriffs take that crap personal!

What did you think of Tim getting his own screen time?
Dan: I loved it. It's something that fans have been asking for for a while, and Jacob Pitts didn't disappoint. He can certain lead a scene, and his dry humor is some of the best this side of Raylan Givens.

Carla: Glad to see it. Tim cracks me up. I loved when he pulled the gun out on the drug dealer. He's a stand-up guy.

Nick: I really love Tim and how great of a partner he is to Raylan when they go off on adventures together, so I'm equally happy to see him finally have something else to do besides it. I can't wait to see where it all goes.

Jim: I loved it. I agree with Dan, Jacob Pitts has no trouble with the dry humor. Apparently Raylan is rubbing off on Rachel and Tim.

What's Boyd going to learn first: Colton is doing heroin or that he lost Ellen May?
Dan: That H, but only by a couple of minutes. He will bust in on Colton with the drugs, and the junkie will quickly admit to his wrong doings, and then get booted from the clan.

Carla: I agree with Dan. Most likely Boyd will realize Colton is high and confront him. Then, the rest will all come out. Though, it's possible that Sheriff Shelby will make a move and reveal Ellen May first. But, Colton won't tell Boyd that unless he is forced.

Nick: It seems like a package deal considering, right? I would expect when one of those domino plot pieces falls over the next one will come down very quickly after.

Jim: I'm going the other way from Dan. I think it's going to come to light that Ellen May is alive and that is going to lead Boyd to learn that Colton is spinning out of control.

Shelby and Raylan traded worst jobs they had. What's the worst job you've ever done?
Dan: This one time, for a freelance writing job I had, I was forced to watch FOX's Terra Nova and then write about it. The show was so bad that I nearly had a break down watching all 13 episodes.

Carla: Oh, come on, Dan, Terra Nova wasn't THAT bad. Worst job was one that I dreaded going to every day because it was boring, but even worse was the dysfunctional environment lead by a horrible person.

Nick: I love tutoring kids, but, once in a while, you come across a child that just isn't going to aid in their own learning experiences. No books, no paper, no pencil, absolutely nothing, so it was damn near impossible to actually aid him in math. I guess the kid was hoping to learn by brain siphon.

Jim: Dan sitting and watching TV is a LONG way from the worst job. As a teen I worked for a plumber one summer. Try being up to your elbows in "it" and clearing a septic tank clog, that's just vile!

Do you think Drew Thompson is someone we've already seen?
Dan: I'm not sure, but my only guess is that it is Arlo himself.  Wouldn't that be a twist?!?!

Carla: Probably not. The only person that we've seen that I think would be old enough is Arlo, but I don't think it's him. Since Drew was married and the Givens family has a long history in Harlan it doesn't seem possible. I'm guessing Drew will be someone at the high society party that Ava wants to attend so badly. Up on the hill, Raylan's cousin mentioned that Drew hung out with rich and connected people in Harlan.

Nick: I honestly don't know. I feel like it could go either way; however it plays out I'm pretty sure Drew will have a pretty rich history with Harlan county.

Jim: I wondered if it was Arlo, too, but as Carla pointed out, the Givens family has a long history in the area so I don't think it's possible.

Justified Season 4 Episode 6 Quotes

Raylan: Tim tell you I wasn't coming in?
Art: Yes he did. Said the game was afoot.

Cop: Waste of time if you ask me.
Raylan: What is, doing your job?
