@Kevin Actually yes. Yes I would. Friendly manner would suggest we are friends and why would I not do something with a friend. Or if we made a big brother/little brother comparison then it would still be yes.

I still don't get what is wrong here? As long as Tony gets the job done (And like I just said he does. He always does.) then what is wrong with him being comic relief. You guys have to explain better why that is and tell me. When has Tony's jokes ever prevented him or NCIS from catching the bad guys? What's really wrong? And don't give the excuse that it is to make other characters look good. He's been like that since season 1. In fact it was actually worse back then. So tell me when, unless there has been the death of an agent or some one close to him or a person who was close to another agent, has Tony not joked around during the series and has it affected resolutions of the case?

To all the Tony fans mad at Tim for not sharing his ticket insider with Tony why should he? Tim was on the mark. Tony's character would abuse it by always bugging Tim to get tickets for him. Also why should Tim help out Tony? He always mocks him and yes while you say it is in a friendly way it is still very disrespectful. He does not do that with anyone else. If someone mocked you but said it was only in a friendly way would you want to do things with and for them?

This was a decent episode. Much better then last weeks which I thought was the worse of the season. Ducky and Jimmy played off each other real well I thought.

I loved this episode. Great Ducky / Palmer friendship. Love McGee and Tony. In regards to Tony, many of Michael Weatherly commic scenes are ad lib by him and he was encouragd to do so by creator DB and all producers since. He is called on NCIS set the "King of Libs". So it might not be the writers.

To the poster (s) who dislikes Tony and want him to grow up, all I can say is, it's not his fault if the writers have sacrificed his character in order to offer each episodes so called "humor" and to make all the other agents look superior. I love Tony, but for the last five years, the writers have demeaned the character almost beyond recognition in order to wank especially Ziva and Gibbs, but sometimes McGee as well. Lately we've been getting humor like last nights, where the "funny" point is that everyone hates Tony because he is the universal joke. Personally, I'd love it if they'd let Tony be more like he was in the DPB days, but it seems pretty obvious that he's the sacrificial character.

I did not see Tony acting like a fool. I saw Tony as being hurt that he was left out of the loop by Tim and his abilities to get concert tickets. Now before anyone gets mad......they ALL have been left out of the loop at one time or another and does NOT mean anything other then the writers need new ideas. Each and every character is important to the success of the show and they ALL have their quirks, problems, issues ect.......but isn't that what makes the world go round. lol

I agree Tony was made a fool again and what worse is it making Mcgee less likable by his fans

Good episode, something different and fun. Glad to see they gave an episode to Ducky and Palmer. The ending at Palmer's locker was super, well done. I want to meet McGee's father and mother one of these days. Yes we met his grandmother and every major players father so lets find out about Mcgee's problem with his dad.

why does gibbs ALLOW his Jr. agents to continue DISRESPECT their SFA?....not that LJG is setting a good example of showing his SFA respect, in front of them....head slaps is NOT a sign of respect....it's ABUSE.

Why do people keep coming back to TIVA and Kate. I just don't get the whole concept of not moving on. This episode was awesome and I'm looking for comments on the show. Move on people, move on!!!!!!!!!

it was alright....i felt it dragged a bit...not sure what everyone is talking with tony.....however, i DO wish that TPTB would FINALLY make him act like a TRUE "SFA"....and NOT the joker all the time.....all they keep doing is re-enforcing tim, ziva and kate's thoughts of WHY IS HE SFA?....we need the WORK SMARTER, NOT HARDER tony...we need the tony, that made gibbs WANT him at NCIS & ON HIS TEAM....and has KEPT HIM THERE.

My favourite line was Palmer's "Doctor Mallard, have you been working out?" while they were dashing through the woods. It's lucky that in a past incarnation Ducky/Ilya was a Russian spy (The Man From Uncle series for all you people under forty-five years old. Loved it that Ducky & Palmer used brains & chemistry to outwit the bad guys & girl.

I like Kate. And I like Ziva. So I wouldn't know. Just don't mention that to Ziva lovers or they'll go into rant mode. lol!

May I ask why you are commenting of an episode of a show you dumped a long time ago.
To no one in particular:
I don't care if Tony plays the class clown. As long as he gets the job done (Which he does), then what's wrong with being comic relief?

It was such a treat to have a Ducky, Palmer episode. They are not regular agents so no they don't handle guns normally but used what they do know to escape and it was very well done.
As for Tony, I think he was hurt that McGee didn't offer him ticket privileges, but Tony would make his remarks in a condecending way rather than feeling slighted. I like the banter between him and McGee and there are times when McGee stands up for himself and gets the last word.
Love this show.

When the show first started my husband said that this was going to be a boring episode and went to bed. Lo and behold, it was a great episode. It was a great episode for Ducky and Jimmy. Totaly entertaining and true to the characters. I enjoyed the whole show. All thought I will say that the man runing up and drinking that stuff, just did not add to the show. Ducky and Jimmy did a great job. Oh by the way, I am sure my husband will watch it now. Thank goodness I always tape the show.

Decent episode all around. I am still waiting for Tony to mature a little. His character is now in his 40's but he still acts like a teenager, almost regressing as the years (and seasons) go by. The best episodes are the ones where he is more serious and grown-up (Shiva from this season is an example). Anyway, still a great show and I'm still watching.

Loved Palmer/Ducky episode, their chance to shine! Excellent use of body fluids. The explanation why the victim/spy chose suicide was a little thin, he had a lot to live for with all that money waiting for him! LOL! No Tiva is fine, not necessary every episode. It seems to me like they have changed Ziva so much she sounds like Kate half of the time now? Anybody else want to weigh in on that? And would they please let Tony grow up already? He was much more intelligent the first two seasons.
For MrWriteSF
For me that was just the point. It was to emphasize the fact that they are not agents and did not know or think that they needed to disarm their attacker. As great as they were to use their science skills to escape, at that moment they were out of their element and were lucky to survive. The only question I would have had is why they didn't run? They didn't know that the woman was not in the woods looking for them too. Anyway, I thought it was a good episode, not one of their best, but good none the less. I still think NCIS is the best show on TV, however I must say this has not been my favorite season.

GREAT episode! Focused on two cast members that don't get a whole lot of screen time outside of the autopsy room. Particularly satisfying was Ducky's comment to the harridan female: "You have been played"......loved that little smile on his face!!! Rest of the cast did what they were supposed to do, with a lot more urgency--also well done. I think I remember seeing that Mark directed this, which might explain his lack of screen time. Good job, great team.
