NCIS Round Table: "Hit and Run" Comments (Page 2)

My favorite line in this episode is when Abby says, "We're right in the middle of four corners here."

This is priceless. It means so many things on so many different levels. Literally, it's a way of playing Bingo. Four corners is a name for a small town, like the one Abby's remembering. It's a euphemism for a crossroads, like the one between good and bad, which Abby's struggling with.

I did not like the ending with Abby and Gibbs. It's too predictable. We've seen it over and over now. I may have found it meaningful at some point, but it's starting to seem cliche.

She needs to move on from needing Daddy's reassurance into an adult relationship.

Why doesn't Abby talk to her priest or one of the nuns about this? She's very active at her church. The issues she's dealing with in this episode would be things they'd deal with. She could just stop by after Bingo.

I agree with Len that they definitely had a romantic/sexual relationship. Since then though, Tim has matured a lot

I loved the little girl who played young Abby. She and the rest of the cast were great. The story line was a little iffy. But the actors pulled it off.

Tim and Abby were dating right after they met in Season one. At some point, TIm asked Abby where their relationship was going (after taking her to a poetry reading-think beatnik, and he wrote a poem for her, which she liked) and she replied why did it have to go anywhere. That pissed Tim off and upset Abby. She talked to Kate about. Eventually, either same ep or later, they talked about it and they decided to be best friends and be happy with that. But prior to that, it was clearly implied that they were intimate.

It seems all NCIS directors have an agenda so I'm guessing this temporary one does too. No doubt he will cause trouble.
As for Tim and Abby I doubt there will ever be more than a true friendship between them. That's ok though as that chemistry between them is wonderful and they both care deeply about each other.
I hope they bring Vance back and delve deeper into his life too. Never have trusted his character but like having him there for conflict.
Whatever direction the writers take I look forward to what comes next. This show does not disappoint.

It's pretty clear that Abby and Tim HAVE HAD a relationship. In one episode, Abby says that she sleeps in a coffin and Tim, in shock, says "That was a coffin?"
Also in the episode where Abby is bothered by a stalker she stays at Tim's place. She walks around in a T-shirt and panties and when she says something about needing a toothbrush, he says he still has hers. He didn't, of course, but it was clear he had at one time had her toothbrush there.

It is likely they have had a sexual relationship. At one point, she asks the other woman (can't remember if it was Kate or Ziva) what to do when she says he asked where there relationship was going. That's generally a question that arises after sexual intimacy.
