yes Huisclothes Patrick is a good poker player, he never shows anything, he can bluff easily, he can pretend so of course he can do it with Teresa, only now and then he seems to be transparent and you can see how hurt/scared/in love he is with her, especially when he's taken by surprised and can't control himself and hide his emotions as well, like in season 3 finale when he thinks she's dead, his face.. or when she's got the bomb attached to her, he's freaking out, when he takes her hand after the beating with Lorelei etc.. in these moments the mask drops, for a short while but still.. that's when we get to see his true feelings I guess.
Now what I have always wondered is why he holds her before faking the killing in crimson hats? because no one is around so they don't need to pretend and why saying good luck? no one is listening.. I thought it was for the viewers as we didnt know what would happen next, was a good way to lure us I guess..

ah damn YES KM I think you didn't see the comment? ah you must have taken what I said the wrong way then, thats what we were refering to Huisclothes and I and that's why I said you didn't have to justify because I thought you telling us about your health was because of that person's comment!!who basically said we were housewives who had no interest in talking about the show but only about cute Simon (basically).
never mind, so it was not a critic at all, hope you get what I mean..

btw i know we were discussing this a few pages back: just realized that patrick got yet another punch in the nose. in pink champagne on ice, his magician friend pops him when he disrupts his magic show.

@bw&r the coming episode does strike me as business as usual. looks like a halloween episode. if emanuelle chiriqui is booked for 3 more eps, does that mean the next three? would think they'd spread it out over the rest of the season.
thanks for info on how to evaluate cancellation possibilities.

Here we go over the cliff again. Why didn't they include TGW in these possible cancellations? Most of the other shows listed have a higher percentage voting for cancellation....small consolation.
btw, you can also leave a comment which may have more impact than the results of an unscientific internet poll.
Also doesn't this week's episode feel awkward because it seems with the hype for the Lorelei episode that's what's coming up next. But no we have to wait an additional week for that and there's this episode this week in between as filler which seems to be just a normal case of the week style show. Really keep thinking the Lorelei episode is this weekend, can't wait to see that.

Tweets Done. I asked for a retweet from OYeoman (Wayne Rigsby) and attached it to The Mentalist. At least one other person did the same with @Mentalist_CBS. Hopefully other fans who regularly tweet The Mentalist will be adding their vote.
I'm beginning to think lack of sleep is negatively effecting my ability to see straight. I might just head in this early.
Well what @KM is an encouraging sign, The Good Wife is also ending on the 28th. I would be really surprised if both were cancelled so that alone doesn't really reveal that much. We'll have to see though, we still need a) Golden Boy to not get renewed b)CSI: NY to get cancelled c) CBS not to introduce more new sitcoms than usual d) Not Promote Undercover Boss to at Fridays at 8 next year as some have speculated e) Do something unexpected and cut back on dramas(which isn't unrealistic). All those things alone have a solid chance of happening. All 5 of them happening though, we'll see. But at least it's alot better than it was last week when we were reading about how Simon Baker was opting out of his contract and the show was done for sure.

Done.
I might just make a tweet. @OYeoman has 58.5K followers and @Mentalist_CBS has 150K. Anyone else do Twitter. I'm rather inept at it?

@huisclothes It's running 61% don't cancel and 39% do cancel right now, so it's gotten better. We should post the link on all the fan pages we know.
@anitraward1 Definitely there will be some MAJOR post-series discussion!

Entwife, they both could still be true. I can see Lisbon being more important and Jane still sending himself the message about Rigsby. When The Mentalist is over, we need to have a post discussion to compare our notes! Now that would be some fun too!

@ huisclothes,
They were never renewed for 24 episodes for 2012-2013 season. It was always ending earlier than shows with 2 more episodes. I was hoping that it would be ending on May 5th. I really was.

February 26th, 2013 6:47 PM
@anitraward I guess both could be true, actually.

they're ending it early. they don't view it as something that will get them additional ratings. they aren't coughing up the production dollars to make two extra episodes. i am sad, sad, sad. they're not even letting it compete in may. motherf------------------------------------------------ker.

There is a problem with the Futon Critic link. It says that episode 19 is a repeat. Not true. They are in day 2 of shooting episode 19 today. From yesterday:
" huisclothes
February 25th, 2013 6:53 PM
Episode 5.19 will be called "Red Letter Day". Written by Michael Weiss and directed by Guy Ferland.
It will revolved around a murder of the owner of a Wild West Theme Park in the town of Percy."
This fits Karl Sonnenberg's twitter set picture yesterday from day 1 of shooting episode 19.

Okay, @anitraward1. I like your theory because it's logically consistent and the timing of the maid's message really adds drama to it. I also like @rationalgal's theory that Jane gave the eagle claw to Rigsby because following Lisbon (the rabbit) was more important to him, and actually a sign of health that he would so quickly let go of RJ to have her. I have no idea which is true or either. I just like ideas that make sense. I hope for Rigsby not to be a minion and it feels good to think that Jane could have reached a stage that he can drop RJ in a blink to be sure he has Lisbon. So I'm tucking both of these ideas away to chew on while the season develops. Hooray for 4 new episodes in a row. I hope they just don't play us and let us twist in the wind.

btw the name of tom szentygorgi's (sp?) and one of the woman writer's pilot is "murder bitches." - classy title.
This is interesting what they've done with the schedule, up until yesterday the site had the season finale being on the 5th(which made sense since there would only be 22 episodes). But usually when shows end early it's not a good sign. CSI: NY is ending early this year and that's why many are speculating the show is in big trouble. CSI: Miami ended early last year and got axed. Alone by itself it isn't a deal breaker but this definitely isn't what I was hoping for. And when Bruno talks about ending the show the right way this to me is exactly what he means---creating a string of episodes like we'll have here. 4 straight in March, a 3 week break then a 3 week wrap up to close things out. I've already resigned to the fact that this is likely the last season due to a number of factors so this news of them ending the show early and not caring about May ratings(signs of the show ending) isn't something that'll get me upset but I do wish they'd stretch it out a bit more.

the crimson hat aired on may 17th, so april 28th is earlier than any other year. of course, if it's the end end, it would be too soon too soon.

Van Pelt chose bad men only until she lost her gullibility. She rejected Riggsby, a good man, tho somewhat dorky, in favor of O'Laughlin. Then there was that other guy who tried to kill her and Jane. After O'Laughlin she toughened up and took pleasure in "payback" and taking down bad guys (shot them, arrested them with pleasure). Given that, her sucking up to Brett Stiles looked to me like she was going to use her gullibility history to con him and take him down too by infiltrating Visualize. Getting pregnant in real life made that plot device impossible to continue so it's been dropped, but I think it would have been key to finding and destroying RJ.
