And, for what it is worth, Jordan Harper (Mentalist writer, including "Red in Tooth and Claw") tweeted that yes Mentalist is on this Sunday @ 9:00 pm and no he has not been informed that Mentalist is cancelled. Remember it is Twitter, ya'll.

Deadline is saying that CSI:NY, Vegas and The Mentalist are all in danger of cancellation. NO mention of TGW.

@Mimi Go rogue means to go off on your own, not follow orders, dis-affiliate from your leadership. Sounds like Lorelei may be separating herself from RJ.

@BW&R The main reason I want LaRoche back for another visit is I WANT TO FIND OUT WHAT'S IN THAT TUPPERWARE BOWL IN HIS CLOSET!!! :-D Maybe that's where he keeps the little trophies of his kills as RED JOHN!!! Trying to figure out who is RJ makes me nutty.

mmm yes I quite agree with you blackwhite but I'm not satisfied with any of them being RJ!
When we find out who it is, we'll be rewatching all episodes for clues I'm sure!
how long had bertram been in the show? I cant remember when we saw him for the first time..
Minelli.. well he's been off for so long, if it were him, we'd still see him right?
Partridge? we've only seen him twice in the whole show. I'd son Ron is the most plausible. so I'd put him first

well RJ knows she was in prison and probably knows for sure she escaped so either she has indeed hidden herself in a shelter because she found out the truth about RJ killing her sister, or she pretends to be hiding from RJ to get closer to Jane (depending on how Jane finds her I suppose)
or RJ has not kille dher because yes he's in love with her-dont think so because he can't love anyone so I wouldnt go for that option. I don' tthink Jane would hide her at his place but he could hide her somewhere and pay her visits now and then.
the crime scene you put out (can u say that?) is terrific, not sure I would like that but I do believe Lorelei will get killed at some point. will Jane be affected? dont think so. well yes because she's human and he wouldn't want her dead, but not because he has feelings for her.

I also have hesitated for a long time to get into the whole guessing who RJ game is because it was mostly frivolous for so long without any good evidence either way. We still don't have any great evidence to lead us either way(one of the 2-3 greatest flaws of the show) but using the idea that a) RJ had to have appeared in the first 3 seasons b) the clue of the writers that "he's the Waldo in where's Waldo"(which I dont put that much weight in but still) c) There's no way RJ isn't somebody we've seen in a couple years and has to be someone who has been repeatedly integrated into the plot, to me there are four real suspects. I'd be really surprised if it were someone else.
a) CBI Ron b) Patridge c) Bertram d) Minelli. In that order, and right now for me CBI Ron is a real favorite. I would be really surprised if it's not one of those four unless they some how bring back LaRoche who was always someone I suspected of having a darker side with not so good intentions. Let me know if there's

Hmmm look at the title for 5X16 "There will be blood" and there will be Lorelei also. Damn that will be interesting and I doubt it's one of Bruno's infamous faux marketing schemes either. You already know that's going to be a major episode for RJ connections, I'll be interested to see if they lead into it at all in the episode 2 weekends from now or if they just bring it out of nowhere. Lorelei is on the loose there 2 ways this could go a) she got in trouble or was found or came upon Jane in some unplanned way b) she does what Jane wants and calls her and is coming to the realization of her sister's fate and who was behind it. Or maybe there's some mix of both. Hmmmmmm
There are going to be 4 straight weeks of episodes in March, I wonder if they build off that and go more towards the RJ storyline and building it up or if they do their usual show an RJ episode and then dilute it with lots of trivial case of the week episodes. I'm hoping for the former certainly.

what if red john actually loves lorelei? without us knowing who he is, we start seeing another side of him through what lorelei says.

@mimi maybe red john doesn't believe she didn't give him up to patrick and she's managed to hide out from him in the shelter. maybe she's in some variation of the kristina frye trance. maybe she's there as a ruse to get close to patrick -- don't ask me why. maybe patrick signs her out of the shelter and keeps her at his place because she'd be arrested or killed. maybe that's how we go back to my "patrick wakes up and finds lorelei slashed to ribbons next to him." that would be a great way to bookend the whole journey. patrick discovers yet another woman he cared about murdered by red john in his home. and maybe in the same room while he slept.
maybe lorelei has been unable to reconnect with red john. doesn't know where he is or he won't take her calls. and this has pushed her into insanity. i could just keep going.

lol huisclothes, I agree, what if it's someone we love? a team's member would be far more horrible than someone like Minelli.. I also like him though and can't imagine him being RJ. but I havent gone as far as you regarding the analysis. Im quite nex to the show even if I've seen all the episodes now.
I wanted to add Grace to the list but no way.. could be Cho but don't think so. or rigsby for that matter..

just looked at the partial casting for 5/16. yes lorelei is back. but there's a female actor who plays the shelter supervisor. does jane find lorelei in a homeless shelter?

minelli has the animal vitality i'd be looking for. he's likable. too bad bosco's gone, i loved him too in much the same way. in fact, it would be best (most wrenching, surprising, hideous) if red john was someone we know and love. so i'll piss everyone off and vote for ----cho. not that i think it, but wouldn't it make you freak out and join the french foreign legion?

@christine a few months ago, when the world was full of light and possibility, i never speculated on who rj would be. and i certainly didn't want it to be minelli - who i love. but now that we're all staring down the barrel of a final finale, i think it should be someone i'm really invested in. if it was minelli, it would be truly painful. as we've been saying. it'll hurt. but it's a good kind of hurt. question is, will people remember minelli?

@km i like your interpretation of jane more than that he's just being altruistic. jane is about justice. he is powerful and fearless and can swoop in and re-fashion things more to his liking. just made me think about the professor saying, "but you're not afraid, you act." had forgotten about that until you made your comment. i am making another cup of tea. assam.

thanks, now I remember I didn't enjoy the epi so much but loved that scene, will watch it again.
KM I don't know about Jane shcooling Betram for the reason you explained. I felt he wanted to help Lisbon who wanted to help VP.
