WHAT HAPPENED TO GENERAL CLARK I HOPE HE'S COMING BACK I LIKED HIM------------------

i watched the "old" army wives religiously and always recorded it every week in case i missed something or wanted to watch it again but after watching the 1st episode of season 7 and seen that all but denise of the old cast members are gone or leaving i guess it is time for me to deploy to another show and cancel the recording of this show because i will not be watching it any longer. after 6 seasons a person comes to love those characters and all the going ons in their lives and this new bunch of characters is NOT the army wives we grew to love. the writers should have thought about what the viewers feelings would be toward a new cast before getting rid of the old ones. i just want to say goodbye to what was once the best show on lifetime

with most of all the main characters gone, and new ones taking their place, someone else will have to take my place, also.I won't be watching the show.

Season 7 Episode 2 in my opinion was the series finally.

From the review, we are getting essentially an entirely new cast. I am not sure *why* anyone would want to come back after the train wreck that was last season, to a set of characters we don't know.

It is as if it is a completely new show; the loyalty it had built up, for me at least, is gone.

The 1st episode of season 7 had me in tears and last night I was one big sobbing mess.
Army Wives is one of my fav shows and I am loving the new cast.
Lifetime got it right.

I loved, loved, loved the old cast! Army Wives will never be the same! It's not just the stories about the characters, it was the believable friendship between them! That kind of friendship would have wrapped their arms around Kim Delaney and her character Claudia Joy. I'm not at all impressed with your new cast. I don't care anything about them. Your producer's missed the whole point of why your viewer's were loyal to your show!

I didn't know they were writing out Roland as well but now I see why the actor has a regular gig now on "Person of Interest"... It's a rare long running TV drama show that can keep a big cast together (NCIS is the rare one that has pretty much kept it the same all these years)... I guess even Wendy Davis will be part time going forward since Roland was the "wife" and he'll be gone... But I agree that the writers have some good talent going forward to create some new stories...
